    We have provided below the general admission requirements for undergraduate and graduate admission at Tokyo University:

    University of Tokyo Undergraduate Admission Requirements

    • Additional test scores for ACT/SAT (optional)
    • Submit two letters of recommendation

    Q:   How much does University of Tokyo cost for Indian students?
    A: 

    ¥642,960 (INR 3.8 L) per year for UG, ¥520,800-¥535,800 (INR 3.1 L-INR 3.17 L) per year for PG and ¥804,000 (INR 4.76 L) for Law School students.

    Note: These are only tuition costs, and students may also incure some additional costs such as admisisons fees, books and supplies, and some other costs. Refer the University of Tokyo Fees section, for the same.

    The University of Tokyo deadline for international students is Jan 1, 2027,  for undergraduate admission. For admission to the graduate program, the University of Tokyo admission deadline vary most of the graduate programs.

    Note: The University of Tokyo recommends students to submit respective applications, as early as possible, at-least 2-3 months in advance.
