Bachelor of Arts in Business - Batch of 2026

Grateful to have the opportunity to learn and grow.
Tips: I found the community more conservative and close knit than I had expected. Dallas is a big city and networking opportunities are around if you look well. A lot of the learning is done outside of classrooms and you will be expected to collaborative with people you barely know. The living here is also more affordable in comparison to other states and your experience largely depends on what you make of it.

Good learning environment.
Tips: I have become more independent and self-aware after coming here. The pace is certainly different from ack, and you won't be the only one navigating this, and people are helpful, which gave me a lot of assurance. The community is close-knit, and classes are more conversational than theoretical. I didn't get scholarships, but some of my friends did. I am satisfied overall.

Master of Science in Technology Management - Batch of 2026

Good growth and potential.
Tips: There was some culture shift when I came, as Texas is a big state, and my university is more Christian-influenced. It takes a few weeks or, maximum a month to get used to how things work. Be prepared to adjust a bit, but the people around you are not bad. They are welcoming and warm, and professors are engaging. Just ensure that you take your attendance seriously.

B.A. Economics - Batch of 2026

Good place to learn.
Tips: The University of Dallas is a very well-known university for its liberal arts programs, including psychology and economics. You will have to put in effort from the very start of the semester, so there's less catching up to do. The class sizes are small and discussion-oriented. The tuition costs are more compared to other universities in Texas, so keep that in mind.

Gratitude and learnings.
Tips: I have transitioned successfully here, and even though culture shock is expected, it becomes better once you spend some time here. The city is quite huge and computing can be a hassle as you can't really on walking much. Learn to budget and cooking hacks for which you'll need masalas from back home, as they are not easily available here, along with being more expensive. My programme is beneficial for my future and career aspirations, and the community I have gained here has been more than helpful.

MBA - Batch of 2026

Good university and course structure.
Tips: I was a bit overwhelmed when I first started my journey, but after the initial phase of documentation and settling in, I took time to meet my peers, join a few clubs, and attend whatever meet-ups or orientations were taking place, which paid off. I have since then had a comfortable experience. The class sizes are small, allowing more interaction with professors and students, and my course is well planned for the needs of the industry. The chances of getting a job here are still limited.
