University of Toronto MBA Admission Requirements 2024

To take admission to the MBA course at Toronto University, students are required to meet all the entry requirements.

University of Toronto MBA Selection Criteria

The University of Toronto requirements for international students for MBA course are given below:

  • Undergraduate Degree: An appropriate bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university
  • Minimum GPA: For Indian applicants, the minimum GPA required is 1st class / Div or 8.0 / 10; 7.5 / 10 from Indian Institute of Technology. Also, A Minus GPA and B Plus GPA are also accepted. However, check the exact requirements from the University of Toronto MBA course page
  • Bachelor’s Equivalent: Bachelor’s degree requiring at least 4 years of study (Example: BPharm, BDS, MBBS, BTech, BEng, B.Arch, etc. or completion of both a bachelor’s (three-year) degree and a master’s
  • Master’s Equivalent: MTech; MPhil; MSc (Eng); MEng
  • GMAT / GRE score: As such, there is no GMAT score requirement mentioned by the university. However, as per the class profile of 2024, the average GMAT score of students is 674
  • Work Experience: Minimum of two years
  • Professional References: Of two referees
  • Essay and Interview: The applicants stand out by writing an essay outlining their professional and personal lives. Also, a video interview (2 questions) with a new timed written response component (10 minutes in length) is required

University of Toronto MBA English Language Proficiency Exams

To pursue an MBA in Canada from the University of Toronto, submit any one of the following: 

  • Graduate or an undergraduate degree from a recognized English-language university
  • TOEFL iBT
  • IELTS (Academic)
  • Grade B from Academic English Level 60 in the University of Toronto English Language program

The applicants can fill MBA application form of the University of Toronto online directly at the university’s website. Check the step-by-step application process for the University of Toronto MBA given below:

Step 1: First of all, go to the official website of the University of Toronto and in the search bar type Rotman School of Management

Step 2: Then, click on the full-time MBA course. A new tab will open. From there, click on the ‘how to apply’ tab

Step 3: After this, a login window will appear. Click the ‘Don’t have an account – Sign Up’ tab here.

Step 4: Now, sign up by entering the necessary details like email id, name, mobile number, etc. Then, click on the ‘register’ button.

Step 5: Then, verify the email account by entering the verification code. Now, a new tab will appear, here, click on the ‘new application’ tab.

Step 6: Now, enter the details in each section of the application. The details that have to be entered include personal, work experience, professional experiences, etc. Also, submit the CAD 195 as an application fee to submit the application
