IU International University of Applied Sciences History
IU University began as the International University of Applied Sciences Badd Honnef (IFH). It welcomed around 23 students in the winter semester of 2000-01. In 2009, the German Science and Humanities Council accredited the university. It also became a member of the German Rectors' Conference in 2010. In 2013, IU Germany merged with the Adam Ries University of Applied Sciences in Erfurt. In 2016, it merged with the University of International Business and Logistics.
