University of New England Admissions 2025: Application Deadline, Requirements & Costs

As cited by various unofficial sources, the University of New England acceptance rate is around 80%. This means that the university is easier to get into. Hence, to take admission to UNE, the applicants should aim to meet the entry and application requirements. So, as the minimum admission requirements, the applicants are required to have completed Year 12 in Australia equivalent education for bachelor’s courses admissions. On the other hand, for admission to postgraduate courses, the applicants are required to have a bachelor’s degree.

UNE requirements vary as per the course levels i.e. undergraduate and graduate courses. Given below are the University of New England admission requirements for international students:

Undergraduate Courses

• For direct entry to UG courses of UNE, the applicants must have completed an educational qualification considered to be at least equivalent to completion of Year 12 in Australia

Postgraduate Courses

• The applicants must have completed an educational qualification that is considered to be at least comparable to an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) bachelor degree

Apart from meeting the above-given academic requirements, the applicants are also required to meet the English language requirements as specified by UNE.

International students at the University of New England will be eligible for the following scholarships:

• UNE International Student Scholarship: This is offered to full-time, on-campus international commencing students who are starting their studies at UNE Armidale campus in Trimester 1, 2024. It is not offered to couples or students accompanied by their families
• UNE International Postgraduate Research Award: This award is offered to outstanding international students who wish to enrol in a research degree at the University of New England

The full-fee for UNE MBA course is AUD 29,576 for the first-year of study and estimated amenities fees per year if studying full-time is AUD 313. This will be above INR 16 lakh. The duration of MBA course at the University of New England is 1-2 years.

The University of New England admission requirements for international students seeking admission to Master of Data Science course are given below:

• A bachelor’s degree in any discipline (AQF Level 7) OR
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline* (AQF Level 7) OR
• A Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma or Bachelor with Honors (AQF level 8 or overseas equivalent) in a relevant discipline* OR
• The applicants must have completed a bachelor’s qualification from an overseas institute in a relevant discipline*
