International students can apply for a Master of Dental in Canada directly through the university website by meeting the entry requirements. If a student has an international degree that is not recognised by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of Canada (CDAC), the student has to complete a bridging programme or the International Dentist Advanced Placement Program (IDAPP) before applying for graduate school. Here are some minimum requirements to apply for a dental bridging program:

  • A four-year bachelor’s degree in dentistry (not recognised in Canada)
  • Permanent Canadian residency
  • Overall GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Must have cleared English language proficiency test (TOEFL 95 or above and IELTS 6.0 and above)
