Here is the list of common documents required for getting a student visa-
- Valid passport- The first and foremost requirement for getting a student visa is to have a valid passport. In addition to this, few countries also demand that your passport should be valid till the end of your course and beyond. Apart from this, make sure that your passport must have two blank pages for the visa stamp.
- Proof of funds- It is of para importance for the other country to know whether you have adequate funds with you or not. They wanted to know how you are going to fund your education and how you are going to arrange for the basic living expenses.
- Proof of acceptance by the respective institution: While applying for the student visa, you might need to show the acceptance letter of the institution/university you have enrolled in. Also, for many countries, the institute must be recognized by the immigration department of that country.
- Medical examination report: Various countries require that international students should undergo a medical test from the list of doctor authorized by them. It is advised to do it a few days before you start the visa application as the doctors need some time to prepare the medical reports.
- English Test Scores: Learning the native language of your destination country is a must for the majority of nations. As it acts as a proof that the student can easily communicate in the language which is going to be his/her medium of instruction. For English-speaking countries, students need to take language proficiency exams like IELTS, TOEFL, and PTE.

Students should secure a minimum ‘D’ grade to be declared pass in the UK 12th board exam.
