- French - A non-Francophone candidate (who did not complete his or her primary and secondary studies in French) must, in order to be eligible, prove at the time of filing the application for admission a minimum level of knowledge of the French language,through successful completion of:

- a result equal to or greater than 600 out of 699 in the compulsory tests (TCF-TP)
- AND a score equal to or greater than 14 out of 20 on the written expression test (TCF-TP/EÉ)
- OR the FRN-3003 Advanced French: Grammar and Writing II course (or a course deemed equivalent) with a grade equal to or greater than C
