A heads up for future students.
Tips: Before joining this college students should know that academics require consistency and self discipline. Time management is very important to balance classes, assignments and personal life. The campus provides good learning opportunities but students must be proactive in using them. Being open to teamwork, cultural diversity and new experiences will help in adjusting better.

Amazing college experience. Try to learn French to have an easy transition.
Tips: After coming here, my transition has been generally positive, though it did involve adjusting to some cultural difference. One noticeable shift was that markets are close on Sunday and after 8 pm every day. People are polite and friendly. Grocery shopping did require the use of ChatGPT for frequent translations, French, German, Dutch, etc. Has an influence here. I didn't get a scholarship because I didn't apply for admission before the scholarship deadline, but I did meet a few people who got one; all details are there in University website. Overall satisfied with the University, course and country. Need to learn an additional language eventually. There is free transport in the country, and the university organises a lot of events every week and sports/well-being sessions everyday free for students to attend.
Likes (Safety): The safety is good. I came back from Halloween at 2 am train ride from Luxembourg city to Esch-Sur-Alzette, i.e., around 40min travel and then walked from the Gare train station to my home and it was very safe. Overall too, safety is quite good, there are people around and security officials around most of the time.
Dislikes (Part time work): Part-time work comes with language barriers for someone who knows French can easily get part time work. For only English options part time work is very limited, specially fif we are looking for normal hospitality work as well, it would require knowledge of an additional language over and above English making it little but difficult to get work around.
