University of Luxembourg Requirements for International Students

To secure a seat at the university, the Indian students need to fulfil certain ULuxembourg admission requirements like submission of a residence permit, an identity photo, a copy of a passport, a copy of a European health insurance card, and translations of diplomas if the same are in a language other than English, German or French. The basic requirements based on study level are given as follows-

UG:

  • Proof of completion of high school
  • Recognition of secondary school leaving certificates by the Luxembourg Ministry of Education, Children and Youth.
  • Proof of English/teaching language proficiency
  • Copy of results obtained in the previous semester

PG:

  • Proof of completion of a Bachelor's degree
  • Proof of English/teaching language proficiency
  • Recognition of university or higher education qualifications by the Ministry of Research and Higher Education in Luxembourg.

  • Third country applicants are required to submit a request for recognition for secondary school diploma's equivalence and this procedure usually takes up a minimum of six weeks. So be mindful of the processing time for any documents.
  • Indian students must fulfil the language requirements stated by the university. If multiple languages are listed on the program page then that means its a multilingual program and students will have to provide proof of all these languages. Check the official uni website before applying for the said requirements of your course of choice.
