Review on Edinburgh Napier university and life in Edinburgh city
Tips: Know the culture, and course that you are getting into. Email professors and ask them more details about what are you going to learn and if there are any opportunities for work. Scholarship are awarded based on how early you register for it. For example there are early bird scholarship for my course but I was not aware of it, it could have saved me 2000u00a3. Research about scholarship offered to your course. I feel average about the University as the student life is quite good, but in terms future career it doesn't rank among top universities and often networking and previous experience count well into getting hire.
Likes (Safety): Edinburgh is a safe City mostly. Buses are available during night hours and the street are also not known to have crimes. Police are prompt if alerted and lots of posters on mental health and safety of women can be seen around the campus and accommodation as well.
Dislikes (Internships): I didn't have any opportunity from my colleges side to provide internship for my course, it would have been helpful in job search There are companies that hire you if you pay them around 3000u00a3, which is again expensive. Networking and actively applying to roles from the very start of the course could help land interviews.

Friendly university with diverse faculty and peers.
Tips: University is very friendly and has a diverse student body and a variety of scholarship opportunities. The program is well-structured, and teachers are supportive. This Master's program focuses on research paper development, and there’s not too much emphasis on studying. The university does not guarantee placements after graduation. However, there are various seminars and job fairs held by the university to improve the students' portfolios and provide them with job opportunities. The minimum salary that the graduate student needs to earn is over 30,000 in order to get an extension for their graduate visa.
Likes (Public transportation): Transportation in the area is well connected. Even at night, public transport is well scheduled. Buses are the best mode of transportation. The nearest train station is about 20–30 minutes from the university. The area around the university is quiet and safe, so it's also an option to walk.

Tips: I have not gotten any scholarships so far. But in case you get good grades, there are some ways out, I believe. Getting the master’s degree has landed me a job as a sustainability consultant/ green building consultant in India. Regrettably, I haven’t been able to get employment immediately after graduation owing to several factors such as nationality, less work experience, and inability to use some software. Further, very few international students joined in my course, only two from India, I included. Anyway, the country is marketed as an ideal destination where you can work part-time and earn money while studying. In fact, networking, scores, and communication skills matter when searching for employment. Therefore, I would recommend doing adequate research on your career path before studying in this country.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Very approachable and friendly faculty. However, it is a little less flexible when it comes to solving problems together or getting help with assignments, as most work is self-study. Encourages students to to lot of self-research and study and does not tolerate copied assignments. Faculty are mainly from Iran and the Middle East, as well as Nepal and Scotland.
Dislikes (Indian Food): Not many food options for Indian students as such, weekly, there are curries and rice options, but they won't be the same as in India. Other food options work well and seem much more appealing. There are good cafes and Tesco supermarkets nearby where coffee is cheap and refreshing. There are vending machines and coffee machines in libraries, making refreshments accessible during studies.

Tips: I could talk about joining a university in a foreign country. Before joining a foreign university, you need to keep a few things in mind like:
Since you'd be on your own, you have to manage your finances well. In most cases, you would have a budget, and exceeding that could be a painful scenario. Take care of all documentation-related items too, visa-related docs, passports, admission letters, etc. Finding accommodation could be an uphill challenge, but eventually, you'll find it. Most importantly, you have to get out of your comfort zone. Network at university, ask for help, find out how to deal with emergencies, follow local lawns and of course, stay connected with friends and family. These are quite indicative and general in nature. These are challenges all study abroad aspirants face. Each may face some or more of these, but with a little bit of determination, it does work out fine.

Keele University: The best years of my life.
Tips: It was an amazing degree and experience. I gained so many new friends and connections and would not be connected with so many people anywhere else as compared to Keele University. The people I have met, the lectures I have had, and the overall environment are one of a kind. There are lots of diverse events and activities happening all over the campus. The faculty are helpful and understanding, and you can reach out to them. Students should try to participate in activities and build connections.
