Diverse and different university experience.
Tips: Moving to Melbourne was a big change but a great cultural experience. The city is diverse and welcoming, though at the university, most of my classmates were from Asian countries, with very few Australian classmates. which was a cultural shift for me. I received the FBE graduate scholarship of approx. $25,000 AUD fee remission by applying directly at the university.
Likes (Indian Food): You can usually find lots of restaurants with different cuisines. One time meal costs anywhere from $23 to $35, depending upon the restaurant, cuisine, etc.
I usually prefer a blend of both, cooking at home 5-6 days and eating outside 1-2 days a week.
Dislikes (Value for money): Studying at the University of Melbourne felt like an interesting cultural experience, but academically and financially, it did not meet my expectations. The tuition fees are extremely high, and I didn't feel the value provided was justified at all. Many subjects were just plain theory rather than practical, leaving me less prepared for employment than I had hoped.

Supportive college environment.
Tips: Do not come here expecting to land a part-time working gig as soon as you arrive. Things like that don't happen easily and take a lot of time. You eventually handle yourself after finding some initial difficulty adjusting to the cultural and ethnic changes in the city. Overall, Melbourne is one of the most accommodating places I've ever been to.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Students can have the time of their lives here. There's literally everything here that a student can ask for. With over two hundred clubs and societies, UniMelb forms one of the biggest student communities in the country, students are given the freedom to explore themselves.
Dislikes (Student Life): The faculty has complete knowledge about their subject, and even beyond that, they're the perfect mix of teacher and mentor. They also know how to maintain their boundaries from students and aren't very over-friendly or in your face with regards to your personal life.

Tips: Do not expect to land a part-time role as soon as you arrive. It can take a lot of time. The education culture of Australia is experience-based, so it'll involve a lot of group discussions and class participation. Hence, it is essential to do the required readings before class in order to make the most of your learning experience.
Likes (Indian Food): There is a variety of options for Indian as well as any other country's food, so you won't get that feeling of homesickness. Since I've come here, I've had the best of experiences trying out different cuisines like Chinese, Japanese, Italian, Argentinean, and whatnot.
Dislikes (Value for money): I feel like the course is expensively priced, and it costs more than double what it does to a domestic student. Although I'm sure the courses provide value for money, I still feel they're at a price that might not be comfortable for everyone to bear.

Tips: I received a scholarship. Initially, I felt a bit overwhelmed, and it took time to adjust to the new culture. However, things improved once I became more familiar with the place. The university is truly welcoming of multiculturalism.
Likes (Public transportation): The public transportation in Melbourne is said to be one of the most well-structured in the world. There are three options: trams, trains, or buses. It's easy to travel to any suburb, and intercity trains are affordable and easy to use.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The chances of permanent immigration are very low in this country. The skills in demand are limited, and fields like PR and commerce, as well as related areas, don't contribute to them. Additionally, it's difficult to find an employer who can sponsor you to stay.

Finding part-time work can be challenging if you live in the city.
Tips: My transition was rather very personal and socially based. Things get very overwhelming when you leave the shadow of your parents and manage everything alone. Making friends was really difficult for me, and my studies consequently got affected. But over time, you realise that you won't get loyal friendships here. One of the funniest culture shocks was the Unisex Washrooms. Rest, people aren't conservative here, but I suggest you be safe from junkies, since they attack a lot. I couldn't get any scholarship from Unimelb despite getting 92.5% in 12th grade - CBSE. But from other students I know as of July 2023, you can get a grant of 10,000 AUD. Personally, UniMelb is too strict and stressful with studies. There aren't a lot of options if you're seeking courses like fashion studies. I'd suggest Monash for business-oriented subjects. The classes aren't interactive or individual-focused focused especially if you have an Asian tutor.
Likes (Public transportation): If you reside in the city, trams are super convenient, and student accommodation is well-located near the university. Myki cards with a concession cost $5 and are affordable, but many students don't use them often. There are also free tram zones that don't require a Myki card at all! If you need to travel from the suburbs, trains and buses are also super convenient, costing AUD 10 per trip.
Dislikes (Part time work): It is fairly difficult to secure on-campus jobs. Finding part-time work can be challenging if you live in the city. I've been searching for a job myself for the past year, although I did have a part-time job for three months during my first semester. Managing part-time work alongside academics is not difficult at all.

Tips: Before joining the University of Melbourne, it's important to understand that the academic environment is quite rigorous and research-oriented. Also, living in Melbourne can be expensive, especially near the CBD or the main city, so budgeting and early accommodation planning are crucial. I received a 25% scholarship based on my Bachelor's merit. The university also offers several other scholarships based on several eligibility criteria. Tips: The University of Melbourne is quite academically oriented when compared to other universities in Melbourne. So, most probably you might hear your friends from another university saying that they don't have exams. But it's quite important to think that exams are a more preferable mode of analysis and can give value to our degree. It also makes sure that we won't steer away from our studies. I was automatically granted a scholarship of 10000 AUD off my fee, but as mentioned, it was assigned to me based on my track record back in India.
Likes (Safety): The campus is extremely safe for students. There are phone booths around the campus, and they provide easy access to security if you’re ever feeling unsafe. The staff of campus buildings are generally very supportive. And the campus security guards do a good job of making the university safe for everyone.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The job market right now is changing drastically, and many courses are being taken off from the PR options, but I believe the university provides enough resources for us to find jobs and utilise the most of it. Ultimately, I wish to get a job in Australia itself, as biotechnology has a great market.

The Universty of Melbourne provides a lot of facilities and amazing opportunities.
Tips: Melbourne is a fun city, and the people are wonderful. University life has been amazing so far. There are so many clubs that you can join and be a part of, and the academics are also so rigorous and hands-on. I was offered the "Business and Economics Graduate Scholarship". It was given based on my undergrad performance. I really enjoy the course that I am doing, the city is wonderful, and so is the university.
Likes (Part time work): On-campus jobs are really competitive but high-paying. For off-campus part-time jobs, you need to go and hand your resume in at the store for a higher chance of success. Managing part-time and university was a bit challenging in the beginning, but you get used to it as time goes by. The average payout for part-time work is $24/hr, and for casual roles, the pay is usually higher, around $30/hr.
Dislikes (Internships): There is a lot of guidance available for finding internships at university. They have university-source and self-source internships. But the university-source internships are really competitive and hard to get. There are so many internship options of internships available in my field of study.

Come if you’re financially secured as the city can be very expensive.
Tips: I got a 50% scholarship plus a $10000 grant. This was availed through automatic consideration. Aussies are very easy-going and respect people a lot. Be ready to feel alone and homesick in the initial days as well.
Likes (Part time work): I work as a chief in a restaurant part-time. It's off campus, easily manageable, and pays $800 to $900 weekly. On-campus part-time jobs are also available, but fewer in number. I landed the job by handing out physical resumes, and I get annual and sick leave.
Dislikes (Value for money): In my opinion, the Master of Management program is far too expensive for what it has to offer. The overall module structure is very easy. The course selection has limited options, and not everything in the curriculum matched my skill set. But I have to admit that the professors are nice and knowledgeable. The course focuses more on theory and case studies than actual practice.

Vibrant and fun campus life.
Tips: The social life here is unique in that it’s like a circle of friends who are already familiar with each other. So it’s hard to make new friends. There are scholarships available, but they’re really competitive for international students. On the other hand, the campus is very pretty and the university is great, so as long as you’re lucky, you can make some great friends here. While there are job opportunities available, it can still be difficult to find work with the amount of competition. However, the university does have helpful services and websites to aid in the job search. All things considered, it's still a pretty competitive market. Overall, I am satisfied with my experiences.

Tips: I really enjoy the culture at the University of Melbourne, even though it's very different from home. I didn't get any scholarships, but the exposure to new things and the opportunities that have opened up for me are priceless. The University of Melbourne is located in the central business district, which is a safe area that is always well-lit and has people around. The university also provides safety measures, such as security guards who will walk you from class to class or to your on-campus accommodation. These measures help to ensure that you feel safe and secure while you are on campus. The classes are very large, with up to 500 students, so it's hard to get individual attention from the professors. Also, the professors are from many different countries, and some of them are not very fluent in English, which makes it hard to understand them. In addition, I find that my particular course is too math-oriented and doesn't require enough critical thinking, which is not a good fit for my personal aptitude. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experiences.

The university provides a lot of on campus events and seminars to connect and maintain connections.
Tips: The campus life is amazing and the people are so loving, very warm and welcoming to students. The exams are a bit hard, but you can push through. There are so many parties, functions, and other activities. Plus, you get free food almost every day. There are few on-campus jobs. However, a good number of off-campus jobs are available if you look for them the right way. Part-time work is manageable if you are a good student. The average pay is minimum wage, which is 24 dollars per hour if you are 21 or older, and 19, 20, and 21 dollars if you are 18, 19, and 20, respectively. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experiences.

Migration is not a fairytale.
Tips: There are multiple things people need to understand before going to a different country. It is not a fairytale. Students work like labourers here, especially at the University of Melbourne. The curriculum is hard, compared to other universities. If you want a job you will need references. I'm a government-sponsored student, I was awarded a 100% scholarship from the Maharashtra government. You can find more details on the sjsa.com website. To avail of this scholarship you should have a family income lower than 6 Lacs per annum, almost above 90% in graduation degree and should be SC caste. Overall University of Melbourne puts a lot of pressure on students, Infrastructure and teachers are good, but student support for career guidance could be improved. On a scale of 1-5, I will give 2.5 for university satisfaction. I will highly advise not to take any management course in any of the unis in Australia as it has no PR or job security. 1 for course satisfaction. Australia as a country is extremely good, clean, friendly people,
Likes (Safety): The University of Melbourne is extremely safe, and there is an extremely low crime rate in the city. This is not particular to this university; every reputed university in Australia is safe. There are security people roaming around the city, and there is no gun culture in the entire country.
Dislikes (Value for money): The courses are extremely expensive and provide very low ROI. Job opportunities are very limited, and it is extremely difficult to find a job or internship. Even people with 10 years of experience in management can't find jobs.

Tips: The university offers grants and scholarships. Students should check them out. Stores here close by 5 pm and most cafes by 3 pm, so if you are not an early riser, you need to change that. I am quite satisfied as the university teaches me and also makes me research to gain better insights.
Likes (Student Life): The university does provide a lot of events and activities on campus to keep the students engaged. There are networking sessions, games, and free food. There are so many clubs to join and engage in their activities. I participate once a week in an activity. The clubs are from cultural, academic as well as hobby backgrounds.
Dislikes (Part time work): The University has not provided us with much options for part-time. Students mostly seek part-time jobs outside. It is quite manageable if you keep your classes for 3 days and work 3 days. You can balance work and studies. The average payout for part-time work is Aud 450 per week.

A very homely and wholesome experience.
Tips: It's one of the most livable cities in the world, and it's very student-oriented, which makes it easy to make friends. The university itself has a QS ranking of 13, which makes it the best university in Melbourne, and definitely one of the best in the world. I recommend that you try to make friends in each class you have. If you're an introvert, there are lots of activities that don't require you to mingle with people so much. I'm very satisfied with my experience at the University of Melbourne.
Likes (Internships): Internships here are very popular. While it may be hard to find a paid internship, there are a lot of companies that offer unpaid internships. If you do a good job, you may be able to parlay that experience into a paid position after graduation. I suggest that you download LinkedIn and start networking with people in your field.
Dislikes (Part time work): For Bachelor students, it's a bit hard to get a paid job because Australia mostly considers Australian work experience. However, you can move your way up by joining university clubs and internships, even if they're unpaid. Basically, you just need to engage yourself in activities.

Tips: You are on your own to find a job. The course is difficult and you have to be constantly working during the semester. You should have good financial background and good academic skills. In order to secure a job, make sure you work hard throughout the course, and maintain a good WAM. If you want to go into the industry, try to get some professional experience beforehand. A lot of people are considering a Ph.D. after my course.
Likes (Safety): The country is safe as everyone knows. Generally no thefts or risks to women. Of course, it is not crime-free. The chances of your cycle getting stolen are high. Also, there are people on the street under the influence who can be a nuisance sometimes as they sometimes shoot but often they don't do any harm.
Dislikes (Internships): No internships are provided by the university. You have to find one yourself. However, it is generally hard to find an internship. It is not that tough to find part-time jobs but still requires some work. Good connections can be really helpful for finding a job.

And to add to this, you have other challenges like financial and social challenges to deal with. As a student, you need to manage and hold everything together. The country is safe to explore and the transportation facilities are widely available. Try to opt for part-time opportunities to maintain your budget.
Likes (Safety): The city is very secure and it is one of the best cities to live in the world. It is safe because people follow laws, rules and regulations and you would not see anyone on the road with a knife so until you are a good citizen you are safe here.
Dislikes (Value for money): Even after receiving a scholarship, the fee is too much. If you are not from a very well-to-do family and have taken a loan to be a part of a prestigious university, even if you get a good job, you have a huge amount to pay back. So it is not about what is provided, it's more about how much it costs.

Tips: Students should know that the college offers strong academic support, a diverse community and plenty of extracurricular opportunities. But it's important to stay organised and proactive. Transitioning here was smooth for me, though I did experience a cultural shift in terms of communication style and classroom participation. Overall, I am satisfied with my university, course and the country; the learning experience, quality of life and the global exposure have been truly rewarding.
Likes (Safety): The campus feels very secure, with regular patrols, CCTV, and STOP 1 in case of any emergency. In addition, ID checks, late-night transport, and mental health support add to the sense of safety. I've had only positive experiences in the city.

A brutally honest and good review about my uni.
Tips: The staff members here are super helpful and friendly. To ask for support, "Help is given to those who ask for it". It is also very good at offering scholarships, and giving membership for sports and societies. Worth joining. Support is given, you can book meetings with your lecturers at their availability, etc.
Likes (Public transportation): Easy to access public transport, because I've experienced this before. Travelled by train, bus and cycle. You can purchase train and bus fares online and gain an e-ticket or real life ticket to use on public transport. If you live close by, you can easily walk to the campus or cycle there, which reduces the cost of travelling by public transport.
Dislikes (Internships): Not many opportunities, but to gain, it should be asked for. Although I have tried to ask for opportunities from outside of the university, it hasn't paid off, due to high competition for positions. Although it is worth trying, as it will give you loads of experience and opportunities to try.

Students should know that the environment is strict, with a very strong focus on independent study and practical application. The teaching method was discussion-based rather than lecture-heavy.
Likes (Student Life): My experience was very nice. The environment provided a good balance between academics and personal growth; I always felt supported and engaged. A day used to include lecture group discussion and networking with fellow peers. There were regular academic workshops, cultural events, guest lectures, career fair and networking meetups.
Dislikes (Internships): For me, the internship was not satisfactory and the process is heavily dependent on their own network rather than receiving institutional support. Also, there is very much limited guidance. But there are general resources available for personalised support and mentorship.

The professors are excellent, the infrastructure is great, and the library is the best part.
Tips: Be prepared for a significant cultural difference and be open to accepting it. People here are sensitive; you should be polite, and it's important to say thank you and sorry often. I received a scholarship of 5000 GBP, which I got by paying my full fees upfront. The professors are excellent, the infrastructure is great, and the library is the best part; I have access to it almost daily, and it provides space for work and socialising. I am satisfied with the university.
Likes (Indian Food): You can find Indian cuisine easily everywhere. Walking on any street in the UK, you'll find good and cheap Indian restaurants and cafes with competitive prices. Regardless of your country of origin, you'll definitely find restaurants here. Public transportation is very good, and you can commute anywhere by bus or train, and it's also very cheap.
Dislikes (Internships): I've observed that only a few students secure internships. This isn't due to a lack of opportunities, but rather the high level of competition. While I've only completed one semester, I believe it's not as difficult as it seems, but it's still very competitive. You need to prove yourself to get an internship. Otherwise, finding part-time jobs can be challenging, but you should be able to secure one within 1-2 months.

A valuable learning experience with unique challenges for international students.
Tips: The transition was generally smooth, although adapting to the academic structure and British culture took some time. The university does offer support when asked. I received the Phoenix Scholarship, which covers one year of accommodation within the student accommodation. To qualify you just need to pay 50% of the first-year fee before August for September intake. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my experiences.
Likes (Indian Food): I live in Coventry City Centre, which is within a 2-mile radius of the university. There are lots of restaurants to choose from, and many of them are inexpensive. South Asian food is especially popular, and it's easy to find a restaurant that serves it. I prefer to cook for myself, but I do go out to eat with friends at least twice a week.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Currently, there are no jobs, and recently the government changed some policies that affected the companies to take international students for work, as we will have 2 years of post-study work visa the employers always need at least 4 years of visa for the student to be selected.

Satisfied with the environment, faculty are supportive and helpful.
Tips: I came to a new country and had to adapt to a different culture. I received a 3000 pound scholarship and an early bird discount of 2000 pounds. I am satisfied with the academic and living expenses, but it is difficult to find part-time work.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transportation is available 24 hours a day on some routes. Uber and Bolt cab services are also available all the time. Bus service costs 2 Pounds, and the student card makes it even cheaper. Bus service is available to other cities, and train service is good until 11pm.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Post-study jobs depend on your years of experience and your ability to negotiate your salary during the job interview. One of my seniors got a job after completing the course, and the salary package was decent, but they are not currently sponsoring her.

Tips: Before joining Coventry University, students should know it's a diverse, vibrant campus with strong industry links. The transition can be smooth but expect a cultural shift with more independence and a focus on self-directed learning. Scholarships are available and I received one based on academic merit, which provided a partial tuition fee waiver. I'm satisfied with the university, course, and the UK's multicultural environment, which offers great opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Likes (Public transportation): I rated public transportation a 5 because Coventry University is well-connected to the city via buses and trains. Frequent services make computing easy, and the student discounts keep it affordable. The campus is accessible from all parts of the city, making public transportation both convenient and economical for students.

Decent college with a good Desi community.
Tips: Students should know there is good food and decent accommodation available. The airport is close by and there's lots of variety of shops. There will be a cultural shift since you have to share your accommodation with people but it will be a fun experience. I did not get any scholarship but it is fine. However, I would rather prefer to do an M.Sc. at a better-ranking university with more opportunities.
Likes (Public transportation): There is a good facility for public transport. There are buses every 20 minutes and they have an easy payment system on the bus where you can just tap your card. If you are travelling multiple times you can also buy a day pass which gives you unlimited travel for that day also students get discounts on monthly passes.
Dislikes (Internships): There are no internship opportunities for M.Sc. but there is an option to extend a visa if you get an internship but no one gives an internship to M.Sc students in the UK. The internships I found were only for Bachelors or for students from Ivy League colleges. Even if you get an internship it has to be approved by the college.

Coventry University is value for money.
Tips: Coming here brought new experiences and some cultural shifts. University support made it smoother. And also after coming here I worked hard for my life and did part time jobs to study and also do my homework myself. I got a scholarship through good grades. It helps with expenses. I am happy with my university, course and life in this country.
Likes (Safety): University provides good pathways, emergency security and safety seminar. Coventry City, like any urban area, has its mix of good and challenging experiences. Good experiences include exploring cultural diversity and friendly locals. On the flip side, occasional concerns may involve navigatimg crowded areas or late-night travel.
Dislikes (Student Life): At the university, I spent my days attending classes, studying and engaging in various extracurricular activities. I enjoyed the diverse campus events such as cultural festivals and academic seminars. Many participate in clubs and societies, fostering a sense of community and enhancing my overall college experience.

A place for all to feel welcome
Tips: This university is very diverse and offers many great opportunities for students. Teachers do their best to support and the facilities are very beneficial for the students, such as the large library space on campus. Bursaries are available for students if needed. I am very satisfied with the university as it offers the support and educational opportunities that all students need.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): There are options available which allow students to study internationally. There are many courses for them to choose from and support is available financially. Teachers are always available to provide guidance to students on what would be the best route specifically for them to reach their goals.
Dislikes (Student Life): It is close to the city centre where there are restaurants and places to relax with friends. There are many shops that students enjoy spending time in, they can purchase clothes, and resources as required. There were many societies at the university that students could get involved with and make friends.

Tips: Students coming here should be aware of what exactly they are looking for. Please don't just go because you want to do Masters. There will be a big cultural shift coming from India. Though I did avail of a scholarship but still can argue that the course was not worth the money I spent. University website has all the details about the course and scholarship.
Likes (Public transportation): London has one of the best if not the best public transport in the world connectivity-wise, though it is quite expensive. Lately, after COVID-19, there have been transport strikes quite frequently, which has affected a lot of people especially the working class.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): No company offered sponsor visa for work and placement was not that helpful. As I completed my course in covid times which made it very difficult to find a job, especially for the course as it was directly influenced. Job roles offered were not considering my prior job experience as they were not up to the standard.

Coventry is high-tech and modern
Tips: I didn't avail any scholarship personally but I guess there is a good scholarship given to full-time undergrad students from India around 3000-4000 pound waiver on tuition. I love the library of this university it has almost all the books ranging from academic to non-academic. The updated journals are available and the staff also help us to source through e-resources if required. The classes are fully modern and so is the overall infrastructure. Lecturers are from around the world and they are very supportive and kind. The focus is more on industry but if someone wants to go for higher education professors love that and provide more support. A student, if they like, can even assist the professors with their research since they are constantly writing papers. In general I would say that there are many opportunities it's just about the direction you would like to take.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): It takes five years to obtain a permanent settlement visa here and for students like us who will take up a job here after graduation will be on a tier 2 visa so there is no problem with that. Personally, I like this country it is diverse and has good opportunities for growth and raising a family too. Be it education or healthcare everything is top-notch so getting a good job should be the priority, that's how one will permanently settle down in the UK.
Dislikes (Student Life): Coventry is very modern and I mean it. It is advanced, it has high tech labs with adequate resources, good student bodies and clubs and so much to do with your friends on campus. There are multiple clubs like photography, reading etc. and anyone will find a club that relates to the individual's hobbies.

A top notch and modern university
Tips: The b-school is very forward and has many facilities like there is a business-suited simulation room, a trading floor etc. I guess engineering also has some high -teach labs and stimulating experience systems. I would say that this university is keeping up with the fast-paced world and that is something good. I myself got a 3000 GBP scholarship and many other international students get that. The faculty is very good and they share comprehensive material with us. This is a top university go for it nothing to think more.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are many Indian restaurants like Indian express but please don't expect good quality food like you get in India. I myself used to prefer veg food and it is not good at all the samosas are tiny, the price is okay but expensive you can easily make that yourself. The curry served is also not up to the mark and it is not only with one restaurant it is almost common. I cook my Indian-style food myself and it is far better.

Student Friendly, academic-oriented university.
Tips: The people at the University are very friendly and help out with your concerns. The faculty is also very approachable and will give you support as and when required. Campus life and atmosphere is very cool and different from India. Class attendance is given utmost importance so attend your lectures regularly.
Likes (Safety): Coventry has been a safe city as it has communal harmony and many people from different cultures and descents study and make their livelihood. British have been very open and friendly, especially with Indian people but still a few incidents have been reported of racial abuse/discrimination.
Dislikes (Internships): There are certain student unions and clubs which help with leads on internship opportunities available. You will have to be very active on LinkedIn and make connections. Data Science has vast scope and many opportunities are available. The pay however will depend on the kind of USP you can offer as a candidate.

Tips: Expect to find a multicultural environment, everything will come down to your own ability to network. Professors are extremely helpful and unbiased. Expect a thorough evaluation on your assignments. Teachers will guide you through the curriculum and will evaluate you like a manager.
Likes (Safety): Safe campus near tower bridge, people are very friendly and would go out of their way to help. Good experiences would be late night travel to explore the city without worrying about safety. No racial discrimination except for a few parts in and around london.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): The chances of settlement usually depend on your own ability to look out for a job, the college provides support but unlike India there is no concept of placements. Given a chance I would want to get settled in this country. The opportunity to grow here are immense.

Tips: Starting with infrastructure, the infrastructure of Coventry is best. The university looks totally modern with well-equipped lecture halls and well maintained library. I've studied B.A. in business management and have spent most my time in library which is open 24 hours. You can easily book a group room or a computer for you if you wish. Facilities here at Coventy are good, staff is very helpful and being an International student you might find it somewhat difficult in the beginning but you'll get settled within no time and you won't even realize such is the culture here. The college is in the heart of the city and thus you'll find plethora of opportunities for you here. Faculty here is also very supportive, they give detailed feedback and become your supporting hand with coursework so, If you are afraid of an academic transition don't be for it'll be very smooth. For overall development and achievements of academic pursuit Coventry is the go!

A great university in terms of ranking and student experience.
Tips: Coventry is an excellent option for engineering students. And the London campus is good for business students. Even on main campus business school is there, but the modules are a bit generic and fees are bit high compared to other universities. And they are only giving 2 instalments. For my course specifically more than 90% of students are international. And the fees are increasing annually. In Coventry, part time options are lower, but the rent and other expenses are reasonable. But overall, Coventry is a reputed and famous university in the UK. The exams and assignments are strict and the lecturers are really good.
Likes (Student Life): We can find a lot of international students in Coventry especially Indians. And there are many activities held weekly for students, the student hub is a very good place for students.
The hub will cater to all the needs of students. Students can participate in elections and we are able to raise our voices.
Dislikes (Value for money): University fee is a bit higher when compared to other universities, while the modules are similar to others. So for business and finance courses, there are better universities that provide similar modules for low fees. And for placement options, an extra fee is to be paid.

If you are coming with a mindset of earning through part time don't came to Coventry University.
Tips: My first piece of advice for students is to make sure they have the money to fund their degree. Prepare for the climate because it won't be easy here. Should have an idea about the course what you are doing don't come blindly. Sort out accommodation in a good ventilation room because you may feel unbreathable because of heaters.
Likes (Safety): Coventry city is one of the most student friendly city in UK & Coventry city is the safest city in West Midlands. Coventry is vibrant, affordable home away from home. Coventry University is located in heart of Coventry city, so I feel like it's safe to live in Coventry city.
Dislikes (Part time work): Limited jobs in coventry city as it is a small city. Even our seniors didn't get the part time job till now. Few students are moving to other cities to get part time jobs. So if you have prepared to choose Coventry university then prepare to move to another city for part time jobs.
