• Visit the official OET website (OET.com) and sign up. Create Your MyOET Account and ensure the information is correct.
• Select your healthcare profession at the time of completing registration. Then select your preferred test mode such as OET on Paper, OET on Computer at a Venue, or OET at Home.
• Now select the date and centre of your city. For OET at Home, you just need to select preferred date and time slot.
• Complete Profile & Upload ID.
• Pay the registration fee AUD 587 by using a credit/debit card.

Yes, generally it is mandatory. If your passport is expired, you cannot take the OET test. Ensure your name in the booking matches the passport exactly. This will avoid any last minute hassle.

OET exam dates run almost every month. You can check the updated calendar on the official OET website to see which dates still open. The official available OET dates can be checked during the registration.

Candidates can take the OET test from a test centre near their location. However, the OET at Home would be an OET computer-based test that would be conducted from the safety of the home of the candidate. You are suggested to visit the official website of OET and click on the 'Find a Test Venue' tab to find the nearest OET test centre.

There are 49 OET test centres in India located in different cities of the country. Students can check the complete list of these centres and choose the nearest one for appearing in the test. You will get the chance to select a test centre during OET registration process

Here are the things you can carry with you at the OET exam centres:

• Your valid (passport or adhar card for Indian students)
• Non-mechanical pens
• 2B pencils
• Eraser
• Sharpner
• Transparent stationary holder
• Clear bottle of water without label 

Apart from this, you can carry your phone but you need to leave it outside the room.

The OET cancellation fee varies depending on the timeline of cancellation of your test. You can cancel your OET on Paper test for a refund up to one week before test day. Similarly, OET on Computer test cancellation is allowed at least two before the test date.

If you cancel after the booking closing date:

• OET on Paper: AUD 200 + AUD 7 non-refundable booking fee
• OET on Computer or OET at Home: AUD 200.

You only need your valid passport, a government approved Photo ID card, passport size photo and payment confirmation slip. All of these documents should be in soft copy and in hard copy at the time of taking the test.

Candidates looking to cancel their OET exam can get a refund on their OET exam fee if they withdraw or cancel their OET exam two days before the start of their first test. If the candidate withdraws or cancels less than two days before the OET test start time they will be entitled to no refund.
