OET Exam 2023 Registration
Candidates looking to register for their OET exam are required to pay an OET Exam Fee of $587 AUD. In India, the OET exam is held across major cities such as Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Chandigarh, Chennai, Coimbatore, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Mumbai, New Delhi, and Thiruvananthapuram. Candidates should note that the exact venue for the OET exam is not disclosed beforehand. Depending on the volume of the number of students appearing for the exam on a particular date, the venue is decided. OET at Home
This is the identical OET exam that is conducted at a test centre. However, the OET at Home is an OET computer-based test that would be conducted from the safety of the home of the candidate. The OET computer-based test is currently available in select destinations and for Medicine and Nursing subjects. More subjects are being added to the facility.
The initiative has been done to make the OET exam more inclusive of healthcare professionals who are planning to go abroad to work or study and need OET scores as part of their application process. Candidates who are planning to book their OET at Home test are required to check the mandatory system requirements needed for the OET exam. Candidates would also require to have a test conducive environment during the entire duration of th OET exam.

OET Exam 2023 Pattern
The OET exam pattern is divided into four sections, the Listening Section, which is for 45 minutes in duration and is made up of 3 parts; the Reading Section, which is for 60 minutes and divided into 3 parts; the Writing Section, which is profession-specific and requires candidates to write a letter of recommendation and is for 45 minutes and finally the last section; the Speaking Section that requires the candidate to enact a setting from the healthcare environment in 20 minutes.

OET Exam 2023 Results
Candidates who have successfully appeared for their Occupational English Test (OET) can view their OET test scores after 16 business days from each test date. Candidates are required to enter their OET Login credentials to get access to their online profiles where their OET scores would be published. Are OET test centres open in India?
The second wave of the COVID-19 virus has made the re-opening of test centres very volatile. While most test centres are closely working with test takers for a seamless experience, however, candidates are advised to check with their test centre before booking their test slot. Please keep in mind that the location of these centres may get changed and therefore one is advised to ensure that the test centre in his/her area is available. One can visit the official website of OET and do the same.
Where can I take the OET exam?
Candidates looking to appear for the OET exam can take the test from a test centre near them or from their homes as well. However, the OET at Home would be an OET computer-based test that would be conducted from the safety of the home of the candidate. If you're looking for an exam venue near you, you are suggested to visit the official website of OET and click on the 'Find a Test Venue' tab which is displayed on the homepage. The search option will let you explore centres on the basis of country, city and region. After you're sure of your centre, you can register for the test on the website itself.
Is the OET exam being conducted at home?
Given the pandemic, COVID-19, the conducting body of the OET exam, Cambridge Boxhill Language Assessment Trust (CBLA) has launched the OET at Home. OET at Home test is available for healthcare professionals. However, the OET at Home is only available for Medicine and Nursing subjects. The objective of this initiative is to make the OET exam more inclusive of healthcare professionals who are planning to go abroad to work or study and need OET scores as part of their application process. Make sure that you do have the mandatory system requirements needed for the exam.
What is the cost of the OET exam?
The OET test is priced at AUD $587 or US $455 and is competitive in nature as compared to other English language tests and there are no concessions. After you've completed the registration process, you will obtain a confirmation mail of your booking. In case you do not receive the same, reach out to the customer service. Sometimes your emails can get dropped into your spam or junk folders so make sure to check at these places before contacting customer care.
Is the OET test an online exam?
Yes. The OET test is available in both internet and paper-based mode for the convenience of the test taker. Please note that OET on computer and at home at present is available only for Pharmacy, Medicine, Physiotherapy, and Nursing. Once the OET gets an acceptance confirmation by the important healthcare councils and boards it will be introduced for other professions as well. Strict security is kept at the time of the test through monitoring of the test taker's behaviour and security needs.
How many hours is the OET exam for?
The duration of the total OET test takes about 3 hours and 20 minutes.
What is a good OET score?
There is no such thing as a good OET score. Every university would have its own OET Score cut-off and students are required to achieve scores higher than the set grade. Candidates should note that higher OET scores would automatically increase their chances of securing a seat in the university and also make them a front-runner for any scholarships being offered by the university.
What documents are required for the OET exam?
Candidates are advised to take their valid passports as IDs for the exam. National ID and Aadhar Card are also acceptable on request and candidates are required to fill out a form during g the time of registration.

Is the OET exam hard to pass?
