Excellent people, highly engaging classes and modules are updated.
Tips: Applying through the university portals will benefit us with a scholarship that the university offers, which is not available for students who join through upgrade. I applied directly to university, which covered 67% of the scholarship. Compared to other foreign countries like the US, UK, Canada, and Australia, Germany has some standards in universities, and also most of the public universities' education is free with a high-quality education. Coming to IU, even though it's a private university, job opportunities and social acceptance with diverse people from different countries make life easier for Indian people to not feel left out and with a moderate or affordable fee. To permanently get settled in Germany, I would be required to live in this country for more than 5 years and also have a secure job to fulfill my financial expenses and should have sufficient language proficiency, typically at a B1 level in German.

An average university with basic infrastructure.
Tips: I moved to Berlin from India, and the transition was seamless. I adapted readily, but I did not secure any campus scholarships, primarily due to insufficient preliminary research. While I am satisfied with the basic infrastructure, I am dissatisfied with the support system. Communication is limited to email, which precludes in-person meetings. Throughout my time here, I have consistently felt safe and secure, thanks to the comprehensive and well-executed security protocols in place. The presence of security personnel is both reassuring and effective. The guards are always visible, approachable, and professional, which significantly contributes to a secure environment. Their regular patrols and quick response times to any incidents ensure that any potential threats are swiftly addressed. The campus is equipped with a robust surveillance system. The strategically placed cameras cover all critical areas, including entrances, exits, and common spaces. This not only acts as a deterrent to any malicious activities but also provides a reliable means of monitoring and reviewing any incidents that may occur.
Dislikes (Internships): Until now, I have not received any internship offers from the college, which has been a significant disappointment. The lack of support and guidance regarding job and internship opportunities is evident. Despite numerous inquiries, the response from the college staff has been consistently unhelpful and vague. It seems there is no structured system to assist students in securing internships or jobs, which is a critical aspect of our education and future careers. The career services department appears to be effective and disorganized. No workshops, seminars, or information sessions to help students prepare for the job market. The absence of networking events or connections with industry professionals further exacerbates the issue. When we sought advice or information, the staff either did not have the answers or provided outdated and irrelevant information.

There are several public universities, try to get admission there.
Tips: Currently, my university student is facing lots of issues related to Visa immigration. And, I saw many students who got reactions from the visa extension. And after all this happened University couldn't help much. Students who paniced face trouble finding jobs. It was so stressful for the students. Berlin is a good place with well structured city as well as cheap transportation.
Dislikes (Value for money): Because I faced lots of issues related to university. The university is not very helpful. Without my concern, they deferred my admission. I tried my best to communicate with them, and I landed in Berlin. After that, they didn't even help me, even though I spent 3 months without papers and documents in Berlin.

Everything is perfect. The university is located at a prime location.
Tips: Before joining this college, students must learn German, which is essential for networking. The professors are very friendly and are always willing to help. They are very good at solving problems on campus and online. I was in an accident on campus and they were very helpful in getting me the help I needed.
Likes (Part time work): Everything at IU International University of Applied Sciences is excellent, and I've seen excellent service. The only drawback for international students is that they must learn German because some people face problems after graduation.

IU Berlin is the best low cost college in Berlin.
Tips: Students should know that it is a private college self-study where people can do their best even without the support of the college. There are lots of Indians in this college, and it doesn't feel like this is a foreign university, and the fees are also low compared to other universities like SRH and UE Berlin.
Likes (Student Life): Student life is amazing, but if you don't find a job, surviving in the city will be a major headache as the cost of living is very high. It is to be noted that there is no major support from the college side regarding academics as everything is focused on a self-study basis.
Dislikes (Internships): Good exposure and lots of opportunities for people who are really interested in teaching. Also, the summers are amazing to find an internship since many jobs are vacant as people go on vacation. I would suggest applying outside Berlin, where many opportunities are available.

Job market is tough currently.
Tips: Research is the biggest key to know about anything abroad. Just research well on how to deal with everything when you are abroad, as it might get tough at one point. It would be brand new for an individual to adjust here with the cultural shifts. About internships, work experience works here if you have one, you might land somewhere. Tough for a fresher like me to survive. The university is not really up to the mark regarding everything, as it is facing an issue.
Likes (Safety): Berlin is safe, every city has its own downfalls in a few places, but at the end, it is safe to travel here regardless of any gender, boy or a girl, to travel during the day or at night. It’s fine to travel at night if you're thinking, some places are unsafe in Berlin, but you could always move to a new place, so not to worry.
Dislikes (Internships): The situation currently in Germany is quite tough for the job market, as students and working professionals as well are finding it hard to land any internships or jobs, as most of the universities won’t spoon feed you on the internships or work to find out.
