MSc Advanced Automotive Electronic Engineering at MUNER Motorvehicle University Highlights
- The Master’s Degree Course in Advanced Automotive Electronic Engineering (AAEE) aims to educate electronic engineers with a solid knowledge of the methods and tools that make electronics the foundation of all the systems that collect, process, transmit and store information, with a particular emphasis on the electronic subsystems that are embedded in vehicles and future vehicles.
- The Program lasts two academic years and, during the first year, it provides students with essential knowledge on how to design and program the so called “embedded” and “real-time” electronic systems conceived to work in close contact with physical reality in order to process the signals received from the sensors, and any input from the driver, within the time necessary to guarantee functionality and safety.
- It offers content pertaining the mathematical and algorithmic tools to process those signals and automated control methods that enable to put into practice the actions planned by the system.
- The second year complements and specializes the first, providing specific examples of real electronic sub-system projects installed on existing vehicles, exposing students to embedded system programming methods and demonstrating how systems installed on vehicles can be made to interact to generate high-level behaviour such as, for example, self-driving or interfacing with the driver thanks to augmented reality.
- The number of places is limited to a maximum of 30 students. Admissions are based on merit and interviews evaluating motivations and skills. All teachings are delivered entirely in the English language.
