- Applicants must normally a 2.1 Honours degree or above or equivalent qualification acceptable to the University in Law, Social Sciences, Humanities or a cognate discipline
- Exemption from these requirements may be considered for those applicants who hold a Master's degree (or equivalent qualification acceptable to the University) OR for those applicants with a 2.2 Honours degree (or equivalent qualification acceptable to the University) along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Admission under the Recognition of Prior Experiential Learning (RPEL) may be considered for this course
- Successful completion of Bachelor degree with:
- First Division Pass and a minimum final average of 60% (in the traditional system), or
- CGPA 7.5 out of 10 on the 10 point scale; or 7.0 out of 10 if this equates to 'Good' in the institutional grading system, or
- 4.0 out of 6.0/B/Good in the 6-point system
- We take into account that at some of India's most prestigious higher education institutions it is rare to be awarded a First Class degree. For this reason, it may be possible at the discretion of the Selector to consider candidates from top institutions who have achieved a very good Second Class degree with a final average of 58% or above (where a UK 2:1 is required), or 53% (where a UK 2:2 is required)
