University of Technology Sydney: Apply for Spring session Soon

University of Technology Sydney is one of the well-known universities in Australia. International students can apply for a total of three sessions including the Autumn session (February/March start), the Spring session (July start), and the Summer session (November start).

For the Spring session admissions, the applicants who are based outside Australia need to apply by April 30, 2024, and applicants based in Australia can apply by May 31, 2024.

"Late applications will not be accepted. It is best to apply early to allow yourself plenty of time to organise a student visa, which you need in order to study in Australia," reads the official statement.

As per the official website of the university - there is a different process for applying for international research students, UTS students going overseas on exchange, international students coming to UTS as part of our study abroad and exchange program, and Australian undergraduate and postgraduate students.

How to apply at UTS

Step 1: Fill out the application form either online or through a hard copy. The admission process is competitive and filling out the application form is no guarantee of UTS admission. Online application forms can be submitted on the official website - uts.edu.au. 

Step 2: Arrange supporting documentation. All applications require supporting documents to be submitted to UTS. These supporting documents could be an academic transcript – include certified copies of your academic records, details of relevant work experience, including certified copies of references from your employer on company letterhead, if required, and English language proficiency – include a certified copy of your English test score if available, a completed form, if you are applying for recognition of prior learning (RPL), and details of exclusion (or possible exclusions) from a course on academic or other grounds.

UTS will accept copies certified by employees of one of the following:

  • Australian Overseas Diplomatic Mission
  • UTS Authorised Representative or Agent
  • Public Notary Office
  • The administration of the Institution that issued the relevant document
  • an Australian university

Step 3: Pay the application fee in the following ways:

  • Via the university's secure payment site. After your payment has been approved you must print a copy of the tax receipt and submit it together with your application.
  • cheques and bank drafts – made payable to "University of Technology Sydney"
  • Paypal – online applications only

Step 4: Submit the application form.

Step 5: Receive an acknowledgement letter and accept the offer.
