My college is good for everyone.

Placements: 50% of students get placed in my course and get a job from my college. 4 to 6 LPA is the highest package of my course placed in my college. Companies like Hyundai and other automobile companies near Sriperumbudur come to our campus. HR roles are also available for my course.

Infrastructure: In my hostel, all departments stay in the same hostel. Not much more. It would be better if it were separate. Wi-Fi is available in my hostel, and college classes are good enough in terms of infrastructure. Mess and canteen are below average. Inside the college, labs are good enough for study.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful to students. They are highly qualified to teach all students. They are knowledgeable. The course curriculum is very relevant to make students industry-ready. Semester exams and other internal exams are moderate, but the pass percentage is 50.

Placements: **Placements:** I belong to the 2024 passed-out batch of MBA - WM & SE. 90% of students were placed in my course. The highest package was 11 LPA, the lowest was 6 LPA, and the average was 7 - 8 PA. Top recruiting companies are Hexaware, ICICI Bank, HCL, SBI MF, LI, HDFC, etc. Around 80% of students got internships with the help of the placement cell. Top roles offered are Business Analyst, Deputy Manager, Management Trainee, etc.

Infrastructure: For the MBA - WM & SE course, we had facilities like energy labs, a library with extensive books, free Wi-Fi, digitally enabled classrooms, waste analysis labs, and we also had sustainable & eco-friendly industrial visits and internships. Facilities like the hostel, quality of food, medical facilities, sports, and games are good enough.

Placements: Approximately 75- 80% of students were hired by structural design, contracting, and consulting firms, which was a fairly good placement outcome. The average package remained close to 5.5 LPA, while the highest package reached roughly 10 LPA. Infrastructure and metro projects offered internships, though some were merely site assistants.

Infrastructure: Department labs had dependable testing equipment and easy access to industry-standard software. With pertinent code and references to civil engineering, the library provided strong support. The mess food occasionally felt monotonous, but the hostel rooms were cosy. There was some, but not much, medical and athletic support.

Faculty: Particularly during design and analysis sessions, the faculty provided clear and encouraging explanations of concepts. The library is housed in a three storeyed Building located at the eastern side in the main campus. The total area of the Library building is about 4122 sq.m. About 30 video cameras are placed at strategic points in the library for surveillance. The MIT campus also has a library of area 1256 sq.m. Around 10,157 registered uses are in access of the library. Many knowledge-based services like that of Reference, Bibliography, MALIBNET service., DELNET, Reprography, Internet browsing and e-services are provided by the library for its users.

Anna University was established on 4^th September 1978 as a unitary type of university. The university was named after Late Dr C.N. Annadurai, former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.
In 2001, Anna University was converted to an affiliating type University which brings together all the Engineering colleges in the State of Tamil Nadu.
On 1^st February 2007, the university was split into six constituent universities: Anna University, Chennai; Anna University of Technology, Chennai; Anna University of Technology, Tiruchirappalli; Anna University of Technology, Coimbatore; Anna University of Technology Tirunelveli and Anna University of Technology, Madurai. The institute was formally created in 2010.
On 14 September 2011 during the period of Ex CM Jayalalitha, a bill was passed to re-merge the universities. In 2011 and 2012 the constituent colleges were merged back to a single affiliating university.
