One of the good colleges in Tamil Nadu.
Placements: Placements are decent if we prepare well. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Zoho, and Wipro come regularly. Cybersecurity roles are fewer, but available. The highest package was 21 LPA last year. Placement training includes aptitude, coding, resume prep, and mock interviews.
Infrastructure: The hostels are clean and secure. Rooms are shared, and basic furniture is provided. Wi-Fi, RO water, and study halls are available. Food is okay on most days. Strict timings are followed, but it is safe for students. It is not fancy, but it covers all needs. The campus has good infrastructure. Our department has smart classrooms, projectors, and updated labs with tools for ethical hacking and networking. Wi-Fi is available, but it can be patchy sometimes. The library has useful books.
Faculty: Most staff are supportive and explain concepts clearly. Some are strict, but helpful during labs and projects. They encourage participation in events and guide us in certification. If we show interest, they guide us well for placements and real-world learning, too.
Other: We have teach fests and hackathons where we can join coding contests and bug bounty events. Department events like guest lectures, workshops, and intercollege fests are fun and help improve skills. Seniors are helpful and guide us during placements and teach competitions.

Honest opinion of PSNACET, Dindigul. Every student must read it.
Placements: Coming to the placements of PSNACET, the reality is that a lot of students get placed every year. The number of students in placements is much larger than in other institutions. The average package is around 3 LPA, that to even CTC. The highest salary package is 44 LPA by ServiceNow, which is a US-based MNC. The lowest package is 1 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course include Tata Consultancy Services, Cognizant, Zoho, etc. The top roles offered in my course are more related to the information technology domain.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is pretty good, be it Wi-Fi, classrooms, or the library. But not labs, as a lot of components are missing. The shortage of components as well as lab equipment is more likely that must be rectified by the management. Hostels are well-maintained and well-cleaned regularly. The accessibility of resources and facilities is easy to reach, and easy to inform and contact the hostel warden. Students are left free with no rules from the 2nd year. Coming to the food, it is the only thing our college is at its peak.
Faculty: Faculty members, curriculum, and the quality of the course are okay. In the perspective of the curriculum, every college in India has this disadvantage that the curriculum of our college is not related to the job what we are going to do actually and it has to be really improved so that every student will get the necessary knowledge in their respective domains to get placed in every company. Faculty members of the college are pretty friendly, and they are good to work with and to do projects. The pass percentage is 45%.
Other: I've chosen the electronics and communication department because of its demand and growth in the past decade, and the best thing about the courses is we can like everyone as we can choose either software and as well as core domains in electronics and communication, which is the reason I have chosen this course. A lot of things have to be improved by our college management so that every student will benefit, and even faculty members will benefit, and that would be an improvement. The quality of teaching, as well as the curriculum of our subjects, is provided.

I am not too sure about the future, but my present is good with friends and faculty.
Placements: Around 80% of students get placed in top companies, and even abroad. So in computer science and engineering, the placement level is pretty high, but for the mechanical side, it's not performing well. If students come to this college, they should make sure to select the perfect course.
Infrastructure: To be honest, the infrastructure is quite good. As a hostel student, the food quality is slightly bad, and it's only for a specific day. My hostel life is good with friends and the warden. Our college wardens are very friendly, and we can go anywhere freely with slight limitations.
Faculty: As Anna University students, we face exams with fear because of evaluation, results, and questions, which are tough sometimes. Faculty members are good with great teaching skills, so with the help of friends and faculty members, our future will be structured well.
Other: I am studying B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. This course is new, so I am not sure about placements, but with the help of faculty members, I am able to improve my skills.

The engineering college with low feels useful for financial weaker families .
Placements: 40 to 50% of students are placed this year. The highest salary package is 9 to 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Zoho, Infosys, and Wipro, but only 5 to 6 students are getting placed in these top companies. Other students have found placements in small developing companies with the lowest salary range from 90K to 1 LPA. With the help of the college, only one or two students are getting internships, and others need to find them on their own. No specific role has been assigned yet for my course in my college. There are some common roles like Software Developer, Software Tester, etc. These are examples of roles students are getting placed in.
Infrastructure: The latest model computers and equipment are used in the college labs, and the internet is accessible throughout the college, though not all the time during lab hours and the time allotted for students to access the facilities. Fully air-conditioned labs and classrooms (only for MBA) are provided in the college. Apart from this, the infrastructure of the college is good enough, but they still need to develop some old buildings in the college. The hostel is neat, and the average maintenance of the hostel rooms is good. The quality of the food provided in the mess is average, and sometimes it is good. The canteen serves fast food and meals from 12 PM to 2 PM, with morning and evening snacks available at normal retail prices. The canteen infrastructure is good enough and tidy. The college management gives only 10% importance to sports. Games available include football, track, volleyball, basketball, cricket, snooker, table tennis, gym, badminton, and kabaddi. However, the equipment, balls, and grounds for these games are in poor condition. This college is not suitable for sports students because they give importance to sports only on Sports Day.
Faculty: There are many good teachers who have completed PhDs and are available. They help us improve our academic performance as well as our extracurricular activities, both technical and non-technical. However, there are some demotivating, non-working staff in higher positions, which makes it hard for students to face them. These staff members never do their work and also do not allow students to excel in anything. Not only this course, but all engineering courses provided in this college are aimed only at obtaining a degree with a good CGPA, not for being industry-ready. The difficulty of semester exams varies by course and year. For example, in all departments, the 1st and 2nd semesters are similar and easy to clear, but the 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th semesters for Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and Computer Science Engineering are not tough to clear and are easy to study. In contrast, for the Electronics and Electrical Engineering, and Electrical Communication Engineering departments, it is slightly harder to study and clear the exams compared to other departments. The pass percentage is 50% for both practical and theory papers. Practicals are easy for all departments, and facilities in the labs are good.
Other: I chose this course randomly because I had no idea what to choose. The best things about this course are that programming is emphasized, and this department is expected to be in higher demand in the coming days due to innovations and developments in automation technology. Another positive aspect is that Artificial Intelligence and Data Science are easy to study but hard to implement in daily life. Things that need improvement in this college include canceling the evening coaching classes because they demotivate students. Many attend these classes reluctantly, and they have no real value. If a student wants to pass, they should study on their own. Pushing individuals to study is counterproductive and lacks effectiveness. Instead of evening coaching, the college could allow students to use the labs for their projects and engage in extracurricular activities like sports or other productive pursuits. Students should have the freedom to choose how they use their time rather than following a rigid college schedule. The college needs to improve facilities for sports and give importance to athletes by allowing them to participate in matches outside the college. The college grounds need to be cleaned and maintained in good condition, and necessary equipment should be sponsored by the college. This would encourage students to excel and perform their best. Events, fests, campus crowd, connectivity, campus surroundings, scholarships, and extracurricular activities all need improvement, as they are currently below average. Additionally, the college should seek feedback from students and address their queries.
