Government of Canada announced the end of the Student Direct Stream (SDS program) on 09 November 2024. Students from Antigua and Barbuda, Brazil, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, India, Morocco, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Senegal, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, and Vietnam are eligible to apply for the SDS Canada visa.

Hello sir/ma’am, i got rejection on reason that i will not be leaving after my studies and the university I applied for has a deadline to submit visa in university portal within 30 of December so that I would be register for winter intake. Should I reapply for visa now or should i go for next intake

Hello Deepthi. If you feel that you can overcome the rejection reason of your student visa, then you can re-apply for it. If you feel that you require more time, you can apply for the next intake. It is suggested that you keep a backup plan as well.
