There are basically two types of Switzerland student visas that Indian students have to obtain before entering the country for higher education.

• Schengen C Visa or short-term visa: With the help of this visa, students can remain in Switzerland for a maximum of 90 days and pursue short-duration programmes, language schools, and important seminars.

Switzerland Study Visa Requirements

Students applying for a Switzerland study visa need to fulfil certain set requirements to which the State Secretariat for Migration (SEM) Switzerland wants foreigners to adhere. • English Language Proficiency certificate
• Proof of Funds (1 original, 2 copies)

How to Apply for a Switzerland Study Visa?

The Switzerland student visa application can only be submitted offline. It must be noted that Swiss visa applications submitted all across country are processed at Embassy of Switzerland in New Delhi. Visit the VFS Global Visa Application Centre and apply for a Swiss Study Visa. They will have to complete an application form for the same.
