Unofficial GMAT Score Report includes Integrated Reasoning score

Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), the premier test for admission to graduate business and management programs worldwide, is used by nearly 6,000 graduate business and management programs worldwide. GMAT test takers are provided Unofficial GMAT Score Reports at test centers worldwide immediately after they take the computer-based test.

GMAT introduced a new section on Integrated Reasoning (IR) in June 2012. But the scores for this section were not available to test takers in the Unofficial GMAT score report.  But now the report will include scores from the IR section as well along with unofficial Quantitative, Verbal, and Total scores, announced by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC).

GMAT Preparation Tips

Test takers who opt to report their scores can get a printout of their unofficial score reports at the test center. Official GMAT Score Reports are delivered within 20 days, but with a much faster turnaround in most cases, test takers and schools receive Official GMAT Score Reports within five or six days. The Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA) essay scores are not included in the unofficial score report but are included in the Official Score Report sent to students and to schools.

GMAT is delivered exclusively on computers year-round at more than 590 test centers in 112 countries. The standardized exam measures quantitative, verbal, analytical writing, and integrated reasoning abilities and has a total testing time of three hours, and 30 minutes.

Q:   For how long are GMAT scores valid?
A:

GMAT scores are valid for a period of five years from the date of result announcement. The old GMAT version or the GMAT Xth Edition scores are also valid for a period of five years. Thus, applicants can use these scores anywhere before five years of the GMAT score declaration. Once five years have passed, the applicants will have to appear for the exam again and wait for the new scores.

Q:   Can I cancel my GMAT scores?
A:

GMAT score cancellation facility is available only for the GMAT exam taken at a test centre. Test takers can cancel their score at the test centre after giving their exam. Candidates can cancel the scores at the test centre immediately after giving the exam without paying any fee. However, they can also cancel the GMAT score online by paying a fee of $25 within 72 hours of their scheduled GMAT exam. The scores cancelled by the candidate will not be shown or indicated on the score reports sent to schools. If you purchase an additional GMAT score report, you will not be allowed to cancel your GMAT score online.

Q:   Do you get your GMAT focus score immediately?
A:

Yes, upon completing your GMAT Focus exam, applicants can see their scores on the screen immediately. Applicants cannot note or copy or even screenshot their temporary scores. The official GMAT scores however, will be released within 3-5 days of the exam date.
