Tips: Academically, the college is good but both the campuses don't have much space. There is a common hall where people can do fun activities like billiards and all that stuff. Every week, people will organise some activities like movie week, surfing week, etc.
Likes (Quality of faculty): Most of them have good knowledge about the paper they are teaching and they have hands on experience in industry. All the faculty members in the college are from different countries and no one ever showed any discrimination. Since most of them are industry professionals, everyone has good domain knowledge.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): It seems like there are less opening for freshers and they require an Irish passport. But if students have some experience in the industry, there are chances to get jobs easily. It's kind of hard to get a graduate role. Need to apply and check regularly for updates.

Strong academics and good assignments.
Tips: The campus is very small compared to other colleges. Most of the staff are good, so the education qualification is not bad. Academically, it's good. But we didn't have a good campus. The only thing we have is a common hall where we all can do some fun activities.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transport TFI in Dublin is great. And most of the route has a 24x7 bus. Any time you can get a bus on almost every route. I live near Dublin town and I have buses every 30 min and at weekends it will be like every 45 min. It depends on other routes. Some crowded area has more frequent buses while other routes might have buses only in the daytime.
Dislikes (Value for money): I didn't like the campus. While comparing other nearby college this is very congested. Dublin Business School, often called DBS, is one of Ireland's well-known private colleges located right in the heart of Dublin city. Because the college is spread across several buildings rather than a traditional big campus, the atmosphere feels more like a city-centre learning environment than a classic university setting. This can be convenient for students who like being close to public transport, shops and part-time job opportunities, but it also means you won't get the spacious lawns, large common areas.

Tips: I would suggest knowing your domain if you are planning to take a Master's. Here Masters are more like self study. Don't take a Master's if you have no knowledge of the domain that you are taking, because it would be difficult. Have a plan, start applying to graduate and internship jobs while doing the course, because they prefer that way. You will know when you start applying to jobs.
Likes (Safety): Enjoy the friendliness and openness of Irish communities. Stay alert in busy city areas. Keep valuable items secure and avoid walking alone late at night on a quiet street and use a licensed taxi or public transport. Buses are their in city areas but in rural areas no bus people depend more on taxis and personal vehicles.
Dislikes (Internships): No internship provided. College gives you guidance but it is up to us to find a job. You will have to find an internship on your own through LinkedIn and Indeed. The reason for giving one star is that the college doesn't provide an internship while taking the course apply for internship jobs.

Tips: Talk to alumni about the job opportunities. Connect with current students and working professionals, start networking even before leaving your country, which would help you to get a job easily after graduation. It's really difficult to get a job in a foreign country so be prepared.
Likes (Student Life): Student life is awesome because lots of opportunities to do networking, and it's the main criteria to get a job. Dublin is full of opportunities for people who make use of it with their smartness and I should say that the nightlife in Dublin is so much fun for students for stress busting.
Dislikes (Part time work): Finding a part time job is really difficult if you don't do networking in Ireland. Even for part time job, you should know someone over here or else they won't even look at your resume. It'll at least take three to four months to find your first part time job .

Tips: Students should be aware of the campus environment, placement and internship opportunities, job prospects, the behaviour of people both inside and outside the college, and the cost of living. I received a scholarship of approximately 500 euros, but I am not very satisfied, as the situation for students in Ireland is quite challenging.
Likes (Safety): I love the city. It's very good to explore Ireland. People are friendly, but the situation is getting worse these days. However, I haven't had any negative experiences like those reported in the news. I love visiting many places in Ireland, but job opportunities are very limited due to the influx of students.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): Getting a permanent residence in Ireland after studies is very difficult. Even after passing 9 ACCA papers, I am struggling to find even part-time work. Security and care home jobs are the only options available to students, and I haven't had any success in my job applications.

Easy going and budget friendly campus.
Tips: I've experienced a cultural shift since coming here. I'm from southern India, and the culture here is entirely different. But it's not a problem; we can enjoy it. I didn't receive any scholarships so far. I love my university and course; it's very easy to study and acquire a Master's degree within one year.
Likes (Public transportation): The campus is located within Dublin City, but some buildings are relatively far apart. We can use buses, trains, and Luas services for transportation, which are all affordable and convenient. However, buses often get stuck in traffic during the winter.
Dislikes (Part time work): In my experience, on-campus part-time jobs are very rare. Off-campus part-time opportunities are available, but they are difficult to find. It is manageable to balance part-time work and academics. I earned 13.5 euros per hour and worked 20 hours a week.

Tips: I received a scholarship of 1000 euros, and my actual one-year course fee is 13500 euros. I wrote a Duolingo test and got an overall 120 bands. Then I received a scholarship from my college while I was applying. And I suggest that it's always good to apply and keep in touch with the consultancy team or the admission team for available funding opportunities. M.Sc. supply chain management has given me valuable insights into the real-world business operations, and the faculty is supportive. Overall, I am quite satisfied with my decision.
Likes (Part time work): On-campus part-time jobs are limited, especially for non-EU students; it's quite competitive to secure an on-campus part-time job. Off-campus, there are more opportunities available in sectors such as retail, hospitality, and warehouse. Balancing a part-time job with academics is generally manageable if you plan your work schedule well, and the average hourly wage for part-time work in Ireland is 13.50 euros, which is good.
Dislikes (Permanent Immigration): My chances of permanent settlement in this country largely depend on the job market. Currently, there are relevant opportunities in the supply chain management field. But most roles require a minimum of 2 years of experience. Graduate roles are limited at the moment. Given the right opportunity, I would consider a permanent settlement opportunity.

I am happy with the university, course, and the supportive learning environment. The country is safe, diverse, and offers good personal and career growth opportunities.
Likes (Internships): I spent my college days in the library and classroom. The canteen food is very delicious and good. All kinds of events are organised on campus, and I attend them every Friday. We have almost all kinds of student clubs on campus, and they are the best part of our college.

Likes (Public transportation): The public transportation system is excellent, offering good connectivity. Students receive a Leap card, allowing travel for one Euro. The bus service is consistent, with buses arriving every 15 minutes. Travel costs are also very affordable for students, and the TFI application provides real-time bus location and schedule information.

Not too academic-orientated but practical knowledge.
Tips: Tier was a drastic shift when I came here. Adjusting to the weather is too difficult. The job market is rough now, so look it up and see if it's the right place for you before you come. I didn't get any scholarships. The college is more about practical knowledge than theories, which is nice, and the master's course I picked up was related to my bachelor's, so it works well with what I already knew. The country itself is also wonderful, the best and safest I've been to. Overall, I am satisfied with my experiences.
Likes (Public transportation): It's very affordable for students, has a good selection of public transport buses for travel, and the school is in the city centre for easy access. Plus, public transportation runs 24/7, so you can get around safely anytime you want.
Dislikes (Indian Food): From my perspective, I cook my food because the number of Indian restaurants is too low. The restaurants that are available have very high prices. They have lots of different regional types, but in the end, they’re all too costly. Sometimes it's in my budget, but not on a daily basis. This is just my perception, though.

The college is easy-going, has a good curriculum and staff, and is not that strict about exam.
Tips: While this college may not be the top choice, obtaining a master's degree here is valuable; however, to be competitive in the job market, you need at least 2–3 years of experience in a related field before taking admission at this college. Generally, every student gets a 1000 euro scholarship. Ireland is an expensive country, but tuition fees are cheap compared with other countries.
Likes (Safety): I have been studying at this college for around the last 8 months. I haven't come across any incident related to safety. About the city, it's quite tricky that the north side of Dublin is not as safe as compared to the south, except Talalghat.
Avoid the city centre during night time after 10 pm.
Dislikes (Internships): There are internships in the market, but no full-fledged support is provided by the college. It's only up to students how effective they are with their connections. It's not enough to simply apply; cold outreach and attending seminars will surely boost confidence in this whole process.

Plus students find it convenient to travel in both buses and trams without much traffic and are easily available frequently.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Post study job opportunities for Dublin Business School graduates are moderate due to competition and limited visa sponsorship. Companies like Google, Microsoft and PwC often sponsor visas mainly in tech finance and consulting. Typical roles include business analyst financial analyst and project coordinator with entry-level salaries around 30,000 to 40,000 euros. To improve chances, use DBS career services, network and gain internships. Securing a visa sponsorship takes effort but it is possible with persistence.

Nice and friendly home like campus.
Tips: Now things have changed a lot. They are now asking for 3 to 5 years of experience for post-graduation jobs. This will affect the future international students who are preparing to come to study abroad. The topics the professors teach are so good, and it doesn't make us feel complicated. The staff also spends time making students comfortable. They even help us do our projects anytime. Sometimes, they bring us to a pub or cafe to talk about job opportunities, which is great for helping us find jobs. We have classes four days a week. They are always given in a friendly manner, so we never get bored. There are also lots of extracurricular activities. If you like sports, there's boxing. If you prefer something more sedate, you can try chess or pool. We also have a cafe and multimedia rooms where you can just relax and hang out. And every weekend, there are parties. I can honestly say that Dublin Business School is a great place to study.

Tips: Communication plays a vital role here. The ability to adapt to the weather and food blending with the people from different backgrounds. There is no scholarship for my course. I'm satisfied with the syllabus but felt the teaching is fast as it is a one year course.
Likes (Student Life): International exposure and campus life are good. There are so many clubs in the college that conduct events regularly which allow students to get exposure and learn from peers. Mostly my time would be spent in classes and projects and the frequency of attending club events is rare for me since I'm occupied with academic work.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): Many companies across different sectors offer employment sponsorship. Referral works here to enter the industry. Not sure for the freshers. People with a minimum of two years of relatively experience can break into graduation roles before graduation. Getting an internship is also great for breaking into the sector.

Tips: There are some cultural differences. I was basically not very satisfied with the country and everything. I think going abroad to study is quite a boring job and I will move back to my country and live with my family, that's the best feeling for me. I will stay here for 2 years and then start applying in India and move back. I want my mental status to be much better. For me, money doesn't matter; mental status matters and with my family, I will get that rest I know with my experience combined, I can easily earn 1 Lacs in India per month and I am very happy with that.
Likes (Public transportation): Public transport, unless you're a student, it's good with comfortable seating but when your student card is gone, it's a bit expensive. But the seating is very good. The problem is that the bus is not full 24 hours. If you're doing night shift, then it's very hard to commute.
Dislikes (Post study jobs): I have finished my course and am still applying for a job and I don't think I will get a sponsorship. It's very hard to find a sponsorship job unless you have 3-4 years of experience. I would say now it is very hard to even find a part-time job.

I liked my course a lot and I would recommend it to people looking to pursue marketing.
Tips: No scholarships for me in UCD but I got scholarships in UCC, University of Galway and Maynooth.
It takes time to get a full time job, you need to have patience and perseverance to get 1 and it’s better to come with some corporate experience minimum of 2 years, to be able to get a job.
Likes (Part time work): There are loads of part time opportunities, you just need to keep trying by making different CV’s. It is not very difficult to manage as you don’t have college every day as a master's student and you are just allowed to work 20 hours weekly. The average payout is about 13.5 euros per hour.
Dislikes (Internships): There’s guidance available everywhere but you have to work very hard to get an internship. It’s not a piece of cake. If you get an internship then it is obviously related to the field of study or something you are interested in otherwise why would you apply for it.

A vibrant learning experience at UCD.
Tips: The transition was smooth, people in Ireland are friendly, well, some are. The main and most important thing here is the weather, which is not suitable at all, it rains anytime, it's sunny sometimes, and it gets really cold at times. I didn't get any scholarship, but people do get it. It depends on their background and experience, and the course they are pursuing as well. To be honest, the Belfield campus is the best.
Likes (Public transportation): There are 3 modes of transport D-ART bus, and Luas. Every part is connected, but there is a lot of walking everywhere, and the buses are quite delayed as well sometimes. The transport is convenient and affordable if you have a Leap Card with you, it's 1 euro for 90 minutes for any travel.
Dislikes (Indian Food): There are all the types of restaurants nearby, I stay in Dublin 1 in a student accommodation, there's Thai, Asian, Italian and mainly local bars where you can get a good pizza and a pint.
100 percent it's cooking your own food as it gets really expensive eating out, on average it's 20 euros per person to go and eat something outside.

UCD is a great college for Masters and UnderGrad programs. One of the top Universities in Ireland.
Tips: The university is very welcoming. It was super easy to settle in. Professors are warm and welcoming and encourage participation which breaks the ice at the get go. They have great societies, which let you make friends with similar interests easily. A lot of international students come in each year, so that helps a lot with mingling and finding people.
Likes (Permanent Immigration): Though the economy and job market are tough at the moment - like it is globally, the same is the case in Ireland also. That being said, the country and its facilities and the people are super warm and make a great place to settle down. And it's the European country that is the easiest to get a PR in.
Dislikes (Value for money): More exposure to real life case studies would have been even better, however great experience and definitely worth the money. And we expected more career fairs aimed only at postgraduate, but that wasn't there. But we were provided career support throughout the year.

While the college organises career events I didn't find them particularly helpful. Tips: It's a very diverse campus with friendly staff. I'm quite satisfied with the quality of teaching and staff overall. However, the course I took wasn't well-structured. Likes (Safety): Very safe, and it's possible to walk around even late at night. There are guards at all major bus stops across the university after peak hours, and the same is true across the city. The luas have security and ticket checkers to ensure passenger safety and maintain discipline.

Tips: UCD is a reputable university, and students who are coming for my course should consider having enough savings to survive for a minimum of 3 months because the starting 1st semester will be too hectic and you won't have time to work part-time. Likes (Safety): There are boards displaying that bullying is offensive, and everyone here is friendly. There are lots of different societies here where you can easily reach out for help. There is a student union as well, where we can select someone as the president, and they later try to solve any problems we have. The city is against racism, and people here are friendly.
Dislikes (Internships): There are some opportunities available, but not a lot for our course. UCD offers proper internships to computer science negotiated learning students. It is student-driven; we have to find internships on our own from the career website of UCD. The available internships are relevant to my field of study.

The transition was a mix of adjustment and excitement. Academically, the structure was more discussion- and research based, which is very different from what we are used to in India. Culturally, Irish people are usually a bit loud, informal and often friendly, which took a little time to get used to. I am quite satisfied; it gave exposure to a global peer group and provided a strong academic foundation. My course aligned with my interests. Ireland is a safe and easy-to-navigate country for students.
Likes (Indian Food): All types of raw ingredients available in Ireland are also commonly found in India. There are plenty of Indian stores and restaurants catering to specific Indian taste buds and for preparing meals. The usual pricing is 10 euros per person if eating out. I preferred making my meals at home.
Dislikes (Value for money): The course material basically their modules can be easily studied online or at another college for less money. The course doesn't cover any technical aspects of Scrum, nor does it offer free certifications like PRINCE, which are often required for PM jobs.

Secondly, companies here prefer to hire local or European people, so I don't think I would be able to find a job. Lastly, I miss my hometown, and there are more job opportunities there.
Dislikes (Indian Food): I prefer eating at the school canteen or cooking for myself. The Confucius College on the main campus has a great Chinese restaurant with delicious, diverse food at reasonable prices. It was a good experience. Made new friends and got to know Irish culture, and studied something new.
Tips: Since I found it very difficult to submit my application on time, I recommend that you get started with your application as early as possible, ideally in February. The application process can be long, and it would be sad to be late to the party and then find that you don’t get the scholarship that could help you cover a lot of those costs. So make sure to get started early.
Likes (Indian Food): There are a lot of Indian restaurants around here. Plus, there are many Asian markets with exclusive Indian spices that aren't available at the standard grocery stores. I like going to Brey because there are many good Indian restaurants and it's got a great beach vibe.
Dislikes (Part time work): Sometimes it’s difficult to find a part-time job, and it also clashes with our college schedule, which might be problematic as we need to study hard. Also, in part-time jobs, we usually get €13.5 per hour, but I think it should be more, as sometimes it’s hard to manage our expenses.
