History
The roots of Coventry University go back to 1843 when Coventry School of Design was founded. From the year 1965, Coventry begin to emerge as a leader in the field of research. In 1970, Coventry College of Art amalgamated with Lanchester College of Technology and Rugby College of Engineering Technology. Then, in 1990, Coventry Business School was founded.
