Book test and pay fee

How to Submit Your Request

Submit your request early because the review takes about 6 weeks. If ETS needs more information, it may take another 6 weeks after you send the new documents. Before Test Day

Check Your Appointment

Sign in to your ETS account. See your TOEFL test date, time and test centre 1 day before. Make sure nothing wrong in your TOEFL registration.

Check ID

Bring your valid passport with name, photo, signature. Other IDs not allowed.

Know Things Not Allowed

Some things not okay in TOEFL test centre. Phones, watches, electronics, food, drinks cannot go inside. Only special things allowed if ETS approve health need.

On Test Day

Reach and Check-In

Come 30 min early to TOEFL test centre.

Show your ID at reception.

Put all your things in storage. Cannot take them to test room.

TOEFL ID Rules

Bring government photo ID. Passport works. Aadhar Card no. Name must match TOEFL registration name. If name different, you cannot take test.

The TOEFL Test Home Edition is available around the clock, seven days a week, with appointments available as early as 24 hours after you register. To be able to take the test at home, candidates are simply required to meet the equipment and environment requirements prescribed by ETS – the conducting body of the TOEFL exam. Some important points that need to be kept in mind before your TOEFL Test Home Edition are:

• Check and fix any issues with your laptop/computer before you attempt to check in for your test. All issues are to be resolved before your appointment time.
• The test taker should ideally close all browsers and applications not needed for the test. This will help prevent bandwidth issues while you are taking the test.
• Test takers are advised to only have permitted material with them during the entire duration of the TOEFL Home Edition Test. All other materials are prohibited.
• Valid Passport as acceptable ID
• Acceptable note-taking materials, such as a whiteboard or plastic transparency sheet, that can be erased in view of the proctor
• Cell phone or handheld mirror for check-in
• Make sure your testing area meets all environmental requirement
