TOEFL at Home Fees

As informed earlier, ETS – the conducting body of the TOEFL exam has launched the TOEFL at-home edition of the test for test-takers who wish to take the TOEFL test from the safety of their home. The TOEFL at-home test is available in all regions that are conducting the TOEFL iBT test. The TOEFL home edition price has been set at par with the TOEFL iBT test. TOEFL Registration Fee

TOEFL Exam India: Candidates should note that terms such as TOEFL registration fee, TOEFL application fee, and TOEFL form fee would all mean the cost of the TOEFL exam. As mentioned before, the TOEFL registration fee has been set at INR 16,900 for candidates registering from India.

TOEFL Late Registration Fee

Candidates should remember that TOEFL online registrations close seven days before the exam and late registration closes four days before the test date with a TOEFL late fee of INR 3,900. 

TOEFL Rescheduling Fee

Candidates who wish to reschedule their TOEFL iBT Test registrations are required to do so no later than four days before the test date or the TOEFL exam fee would be forfeited. Candidates would be required to pay INR 5,900 as TOEFL rescheduling fee for rescheduling their TOEFL test. Rescheduling tests by mail, email, or at the test centre is unacceptable. Candidates must either call their Regional Registration Centre (India – 91-124-4147700) or furnish their full name and appointment number to reschedule. Candidates can also log into their ETS account online and reschedule any upcoming tests.

TOEFL Cancellation Fees (TOEFL Refund policy)

Candidates who wish to cancel their TOEFL Test must do so no later than four days before their test date, to be eligible to receive a refund equivalent to half of the TOEFL exam fee. Candidates should note that there are no cash refunds and the refund amount would be in US Dollars and be credited back to the original credit/debit card or bank account via which the payment was made.

TOEFL Exam Fee: Refunds

• Test-takers are eligible for a refund if they cancel their registration by the deadline of 4 (four) days before their Test (“4-Day Deadline”). For example, if your Test is on Saturday, you must cancel by Tuesday;
• For cancellations before the said 4-day Deadline, you would be eligible to receive a refund of 50% (Fifty Percent) of the test fee paid by you. The remainder of the test fee will be retained to cover expenses for processing your registration and holding space at the test centre.
• Refunds are limited to Tests and are not processed for other products or services, such as test preparation materials, additional services, international test site fees or service fees.

TOEFL Score Sending Fee

At the time of your TOEFL registration, the TOEFL test fees also include the candidate’s TOEFL scores being sent to four universities/ intuitions.
