IELTS Exam Fee Bangalore: Cancellation & Rescheduling Fee
The IELTS exam fee is a mandatory requirement for candidates looking to take the IELTS exam. A lot of times, candidates might have to reschedule or cancel their IELTS exam due to reasons best known to them. IDP - the conducting body of the IELTS exam has also advised students to be doubly sure before going ahead with their IELTS slot booking to avoid any cancellation penalties. However, a lot of times, due to circumstances beyond our control, candidates might have to reschedule or cancel their IELTS test dates. IDP has a provision for cancellation and rescheduling of your IELTS exam date at a fee.
IELTS Cancellation Fee
- If a candidate cancels the IELTS booking slot more than five weeks before the test date, in that case, he will receive the refund minus a 25% administrative fee
- If a candidate cancels the IELTS test less than five weeks ahead of the test date. There will be no refund.
- There is no refund if you do not appear on test
IELTS Rescheduling Fees
If you are unable to appear for your IELTS exam on the scheduled test date but wish to take the test later (within three months), you must submit an IELTS rescheduling request. This request must be made at least five weeks before your original test date.
You will need to select a new test date within three months of your initial booking. A rescheduling fee of INR 4,500, inclusive of all applicable taxes, is charged for this service. Please note that candidates are allowed to reschedule their IELTS exam only once. If you fail to appear for the rescheduled test date, no further rescheduling or refund will be provided.
All IELTS cancellation and rescheduling requests can be submitted through your test-taker profile. The rescheduling fee can be paid online using accepted credit or debit cards.
After booking the IDP IELTS test you will receive an acknowledgement on your registered email ID/phone number. Book the slot for the Speaking test online on your preferred date and time. If you won't be able to book the slot within the available time, then a time slot will be automatically allocated to you.
