IELTS Exam Fee Bangalore: Cancellation & Rescheduling Fee

The IELTS exam fee is a mandatory requirement for candidates looking to take the IELTS exam. A lot of times, candidates might have to reschedule or cancel their IELTS exam due to reasons best known to them. IDP - the conducting body of the IELTS exam has also advised students to be doubly sure before going ahead with their IELTS slot booking to avoid any cancellation penalties. However, a lot of times, due to circumstances beyond our control, candidates might have to reschedule or cancel their IELTS test dates. IDP has a provision for cancellation and rescheduling of your IELTS exam date at a fee.

IELTS Cancellation Fee

• If a candidate cancels the IELTS booking slot more than five weeks before the test date, in that case, he will receive the refund minus a 25% administrative fee
• If a candidate cancels the IELTS test less than five weeks ahead of the test date. There will be no refund.
• There is no refund if you do not appear on test

IELTS Rescheduling Fees

If you cannot appear on your IELTS exam day but want to take it later (within three months), you need raise an IELTS reschedule request. You must do this at least 5 weeks before your booked test date. You need pick a new test date within three months of your first booking. You have to pay INR 4,500 as rescheduling fee, including all taxes. You can only reschedule IELTS exam once. If you miss the second date, no refund or reschedule will be given.
