Note: The Student Partners Program (SPP) has been recently replaced by the Student Direct Stream (SDS) program in India.

The SPP program was started in 2009 and it is still running successfully with a very high approval rate. The full form of SPP is the Student Partners Program. You need to apply to SPP colleges like you would to any other college. After getting your acceptance letter from the college, you need to apply for the student visa. You need to meet certain eligibility criteria and requirements before you can apply for the student visa

You can apply for the Canadian student visa online as well as offline or through recognized body like VFS. The process of application for SPP visa is same as under Canadian student visa. You will have to provide certain documents and proof of sufficient funds in order to get the student visa.

To apply under SPP, you should have never been refused the student visa to Canada previously. If you were refused the visa once before, then you will have to apply outside SPP.

Dear Jashanpreet, you can apply to Canada, however, if you wish to enroll in reputed universities, then minimum IELTS score of 6 in each module would be better.
