How to Send PTE Score Report?

Candidates who have successfully appeared for their PTE Academic Exam get notified by email whenever their results are released online. After that, students are required to log in to their myPTE accounts to view and share their score reports with the universities. Students can also download their score reports onto their devices for their own records; however, the downloaded files (paper or PDF versions) are not accepted by the universities.

Candidates can share their PTE results with as many colleges and universities of their choice as they want. There are two ways to share their results both of which are given below.

Sharing Your PTE Score Report: Procedure 1

One of the methods to share your PTE score report is to share your unique PTE Score Report Code with the universities of your choice. The PTE Score Report Code is a 10-digit/letter code written on top of your score report under your name.

The universities you share your unique score report code with can look for your scores on the PTE's score review website using your Registration ID or score code. Note that you can choose to share your result/score report code with n-number of universities.

Sharing Your PTE Score Report: Procedure 2

The second way to share your PTE scores with the universities is by using the myPTE account. Check out the steps to share your PTE scores with universities abroad using your "my PTE" account:

  • Login to your myPTE account at https://mypte.pearsonpte.com/.
  • Visit the "My Activity" section.
  • Select the test scores you want to share and click on "Send Scores" next to it.
  • Type the name of your chosen institution in the Search box marked with "School/University/Institution". Click on the university name when you find it. You can select up to 7 institutions to share your PTE results with at one time.
  • After you finish selecting your universities, review your details then scroll down the page and click 'Next' and then 'Next' again to confirm.

Candidates will receive an email after their scores are successfully shared with the universities. Typically, your chosen institutes will be able to view your score reports after 48 hours of sharing them

Note:- Universities will only be able to view the PTE scores that you chose to share with them. No scores from your previous attempts on the PTE exam will be shared with the university. However, if you do not receive a better score in your current attempt and you wish to share the scores of your previous attempt, then, you can do so by selecting the previous results to share with your university that too within two years of their validity period.

Rescoring Your PTE Academic Score?

If candidates are unsatisfied with their PTE Score they can request a rescore. However, since the PTE Academic is a computer-scored test, the chance of an error is highly unlikely. Only spoken responses and open-ended written responses are rescored. Candidates can only request a rescore for their most recent PTE Academic Test and candidates are barred from requesting a rescore if they have already either scheduled another test or sent their score to an institution. In the event the score changes, the new score will replace the previous score and the original score report will be reissued to reflect the new score.
