Try to Identify Meaningful Phrases in the Spoken Sentence

One important tip to memorise sentences and speak them as it is in the correct sequence of words is to understand the phrases recorded in spoken sentences. By paying attention to significant phrases within the sentence, you will enhance your likelihood of accurately reproducing what you hear.

Try to Copy the Intonation and Stress Patterns Used in the Sentence

Take note of the stress and intonation patterns used in the sentence you hear. Take a moment to observe how the speaker highlights specific words and employs intonation in the recording. These patterns are crucial for grasping the meaning. When you speak, do so calmly and clearly, imitating that stress and intonation.

The scoring of the Repeat Sentence in PTE is done based on three parameters, given below.

Pronunciation

Pronunciation is evaluated based on the clarity of your speech to the majority of native speakers of the language. The best responses include vowels and consonants pronounced similarly to those of native speakers, with correct emphasis on words and phrases.
