IIM Rohtak Admission Process
IIM Rohtak admission criteria 2027-2029 will be released soon. The institute is expected to fix the CAT cut off 2026 around 97 percentile, same as last year. The IIM Rohtak PI shortlist and application form will be released in the first week of January 2027 after the announcement of CAT result 2026. IIM Rohtak admission criteria 2026-2028 included CAT score and Personal Interview. The qualifying CAT cut off for PI round was 97 percentile for General category candidates. The final selection was made on the basis of candidate’s overall performance in CAT exam, online PI and academics. Work experience and diversity are also important constituents of the overall score calculation. Unlike other IIMs where the PI score is higher than CAT score for final selection, at IIM Rohtak, CAT cut off score weightage was higher (60 points).
IIM Rohtak PI shortlisting was done on the basis of candidate's score in CAT exam and academic record. Candidates met the qualifying CAT 2025 cut off, were required to fill an online application to get shortlisted for the PI round. The IIM Rohtak admission process 2026-28 consisted of the following five stages:
Stage I: Online Registration for PGP Admission 2026-26 batch
Stage II: Online Personal Interview (Online PI)
Stage III: Final selection of candidates for admission
Stage IV: Offer for Provisional Admission

Candidates selected for the final admission were intimated via email. On receiving the admission offer, the candidate had to login to the IIM Rohtak website to download the offer letter. To confirm admission, they had to send the offer acceptance letter and offer acceptance fees (to be mentioned in the offer letter) to the institute.

The general category CAT percentile cutoff at IIM Raipur normally lies between 92 and 95%, though it could differ somewhat depending on the category (OBC, SC, ST) and applicant pool. No the IPMAT cutoff for IIM INdore and IIM Rohtak are not the same. Both the IIMs conduct different IPMAT exams. IIM Indore conducts IPMAT Indore and the exam conducted by IIM Rohtak is called the IPMAT Rohtak exam. Thus, both the institues have different cutoffs.

IIM Rohtak can be considered as a Tier 2 college. It is part of the new IIMs while the older IIMs like Lucknow and Calcutta are Tier 1 colleges. Despite being new, IIM Rohtak is ranked 19th under the 'Management' category by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2025.

IIM Rohtak has a fee-refund policy for students who meet the eligibility requirements. The institute will refund the amount after deducting the processing fee of INR 1,000. The refund amount will be credited to the bank account of the students.
