IIM Kashipur Shortlist & Admission Criteria for 2026-28: PI Registration Started; Check CAT Cut Offs

IIM Kashipur admission criteria 2026-28- IIM Kashipur will select candidates for MBA admission through IIM JAP. Registration for IIM JAP has started. The IIM Kashipur admission criteria 2026-28 has been announced. The insitute will be participating in IIM JAP to be coordinated by IIM Raipur. The qualifying CAT cut off percentile is 95 for General category students. For NC-OBC candidates, it is 81 percentile, for SC candidates it is 66 percentile whereas for SC and PwD candidates, it is 40 percentile. IIM JAP 2026 form is out. Candidates who meet the cut off criteria can apply for PI round. Last date to apply is February 28, 2026.

IIM Kashipur admission is planned in a two-phase manner. The first phase includes shortlisting of candidates who meet the minimum CAT cut off criteria. In phase two, the shortlisted candidates will have to participate in the Personal Interview (PI) round. Post the PI round, a merit list will be created on the basis of the candidates’ PI performance and other components. The IIM Kashipur PI round will be conducted in February-March 2026. The PI date and venue will be shared with the shortlisted students in email.

IIM Kashipur PI Shortlist 2026: How to Fill JAP form?

IIM Kashipur is a part of IIM JAP 2026 along with IIM Raipur, IIM Ranchi and IIM Trichirappalli. IIM Raipur will coordinate PI shortisting and interviews on behalf of rest of the three. Check below the process to fill IIM JAP form.

• Click on the link indicating JAP form/PGP admission
• Enter CAT ID and password
• Check PI shortlist status and fill the form

IIM Kashipur PI shortlisting is done through IIM CAP in which one of the newer IIMs shortlist the students for PI round on behalf of nine IIMs - IIM Jammu, IIM Bodh Gaya, IIM Kashipur, IIM Ranchi, IIM Sirmaur and IIM Trichy, IIM Udaipur.

IIM Kashipur Admission Criteria 2026-28: Composite Score Parameters

Final selection for admission to the PGP course was based on the Composite Score. The table below indicates parameters and weight assigned to them for calculation of Composite Score:

Selected candidates were intimated via email by April 2025 following which they had to confirm admission through offer acceptance letter and a stipulated fee (INR 50, 000), which will be adjusted at the time of admission.
