IIM Jammu has fixed CAT cut off at 95 percentile for General category for MBA admission this year. Candidates will be shortlisted through IIM CAP to IIM Jammu SAP. IIM Jammu admission criteria 2026-2028 - Selection of candidates is being done through IIM CAP 2026, forms for which are out. The minimum cut off is 95 percentile for General category. IIM Jammu

IIM Jammu admission criteria MBA batch 2026-28 - The selection process includes shortlisting of candidates through CAT 2025 score and Common Admission Process or the CAP. IIM Jammu, being one of the new campuses, follows the Common Admission Process (CAP), also called Personal Appearance (PA). IIM Bodhgaya is conducting IIM CAP 2026. It has released the PI shortlist form 2026. Candidates have to fill the form and submit the Expression Of Interest (EOI) by January 25, 2026. 

The CAT 2025 cut off, for 2026 batch has been fixed at 95 percentile for General candidates, 81 for EWS and NC-OBC, 66 for SC and 42 for ST/PwD candidates. The CAT cut offs for female candidates is 2 percentile less in all categories. IIM Jammu will additionally conduct the Supplementary Admission Process (SAP) for candidates who meet the IIM Jammu shortlisting criteria but not the CAP cut off criteria. IIM Jammu Admission & Shortlisting Criteria: CAT Cut Offs 2025

In the first stage, the CAT exam test-takers will be shortlisted on the basis of their overall and sectional scores. For female and transgender candidates the cut off criteria is lower than male candidates in all categories. The minimum CAT cut-offs fixed for stage 1 of IIM Jammu admission 2026 are given below:

IIM Jammu Admission 2026-28: Generation of Merit List for Final Selection

Final selection will be done among the candidates who cleared the WAT-PI round on the basis of the composite score arrived at after calculating their scores viz. the above-mentioned parameters. The selection list was finalised and released by May 2026.

Candidates selected for IIM Jammu admission will be required to confirm admission by sending Offer Acceptance and an Offer Acceptance amount of INR 50,000 to the institute. Upon admission withdrawal within the date specified by the Institute, Offer Acceptance Amount refund will be applied after deducting INR 1,000 as processing charges.

The CAT percentile of candidates shortlisted for the Written Ability Test (WAT), Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI) can be considered the cut-off for that IIM. For example, if a candidate with a CAT percentile of 99 belonging to the General category is selected for the WAT/GD-PI of IIM Calcutta, then the CAT cut-off for IIM Calcutta is 99 percentile. Only those candidates who make it to the WAT/GD-PI round of IIMs will get to know the cut-offs.
