IIM Kozhikode selection criteria 2026-2028 included shortlisting of candidates on the basis of CAT cut offs, academic record, WAT and PI. Candidates who had met the minimum score requirement were shortlisted for WAT-PI round.
The qualifying CAT cut off percentile for IIM Kozhikode admission was 85 (General category). For the final selection of candidates for IIM Kozhikode's PGP programme, the weightage of CAT score was 35 points whereas the weightage of WAT-PI was 55 points. Resume score had 10 points.

Candidates were evaluated for final selection based on their performance, academic efforts and disposition, general awareness and social disposition, attitude, personality and communication and the quality of work experience. The resume score was calculated based on the quality of academic and professional qualifications. Category-wise merit list was prepared based on the final scores and admission offers were sent to candidates selectted for admission in May 2026.
Candidates had to accept the admission offer letter and paying the confirmation fee (first instalment of the course fee). IIM Kozhikode waitlist was released for seats remaining vacant after first round of admission confirmation.

To get admission in Indian institute of Management Kozhikode CAT is mandatory for admission in PGP programme. But on other programmes, such as EPGP the college considers EMAT, GMAT or GRE scores.
