IIM Indore Admission Criteria 2026-2028 for Post Graduate Programme (PGP) is 90 percentile for General category students, same as last year. For EWS category too, the minimum qualifying CAT 2025 cut off is 90 percentile. For NC-OBC candidates the qualifying CAT ut off is 80 percentile whereas for SC/ST candidates, it is 60 and 45 percentile, respectively. According to IIM Indore admission criteria 2026, candidates belonging to PWD category also need at least 45 percentile in CAT 2025 to be able to eligible for Personal Interview (PI).
Candidates have to meet not only the overall IIM Indore CAT cut off percentile but also the sectional cut offs to be selected for the PI round. Thus, IIM Indore aspirants must aim to score above 90 percentile in the CAT exam.
IIM Indore PGP shortlist 2026 for the PI round will be released most likely by the second week of January 2026 as the CAT 2025 result was announced on December 24, 2025. Candidates who have selected IIM Indore as a preferred campus for MBA admission in the CAT 2025 application form, are eligible for the PI round. IIM Indore PI Shortlist 2026-2028: How to Check Status?
PI shortlist for PGP 2026 batch admission was released at the institute website. Given below are the steps to check the status:
- Go to IIM Indore website
- Click on option showing Provisional PI shortlist PGP 2026-2028
- Enter CAT 2025 registration ID
- Enter registered email ID or date of birth
- Click on 'Get Status'

For admission to 2026 batch, PI will be conducted face-to-face. IIM Indore admission process will consist of three phases:

IIM Indore Selection Criteria 2026-28: Composite Score and Parameters for PI
Candidates were selected for the PI round based on a Composite Score arrived at by calculating marks obtained on the following parameters. The below parameters are for 2026-28 batch admission:

Candidates shortlisted on the basis of IIM Indore cut off 2026 for PI, will be informed via email in January 2026. Shortlisted candidates will be required to participate in the PI round in person, schedule of which will be shared with those selected. The IIM Indore PI round will be conducted in the following cities:

Final selection for IIM Indore admission was based on the Final Composite Score arrived at by computing each candidate’s performance on the following parameters:

Candidates who have selected PGP course, in the CAT 2025 application form are eligible for PGP-HRM of IIM Indore also. However, final selection will be done as per the admission procedure for the respective programme. Upon selection, candidates will be informed via email in May 2025. Thereafter, candidates will have to confirm seat by accepting the offer of admission letter and paying the requisite amount as first fee instalment. The mark sheet and passing certificate of final year Graduation must be submitted by December 31, 2026, failing which the admission will be cancelled.

The application fee for IIM Indore differs from course to course. For IIM Indore MBA admissions, candidates need not to apply anywhere else other than CAT. The application fee for CAT is INR 2,400 for general category.

The mode of Indian Institute of Management Indore course admissions is online. Admission to various courses is based on entrance exam scores and merit. The accepted entrance exams are CAT, CAT,1 Indore, and others. Candidates applying through the CAT must first register for the CAT exam. Then appear for the CAT exam. Those who qualify for CAT must appear for the WAT, PI, and other selection rounds. Then candidates will get an admission call according to their marks. Then students must report at the allotted and selected college.
The admission cycle for the flagship PGP courses of IIM-I starts in the month of August for the upcoming year's MBA admission batch. IIM Indore has adopted a three-stage selection process for admission to its PGP and PGP HRM programmes, which is as follows:
Eligibility criteria
All applicants must fulfil the eligibility requirements specified for PGP admission. A pass in any UG degree or completed a professional degree (CA/ CS/ ICWA/ FIAI) with at least 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates) is required to apply for PGP course.
Shortlist for PI
Only those aspirants satisfying the eligibility requirements will be shortlisted for PI round. Sufficient number of candidates for PI from each category will be shortlisted using the merit list generated based on composite score. Candidates shortlisted for PI will be intimated in the month of January 2023. Individual regret letters will not be sent to applicants who are not shortlisted for PI.
Final Selection
After completion of the above selection rounds, category-wise merit list is generated based on final composite score and provisional admission offers are made accordingly.
