IIM Indore Admission Criteria 2026-2028 for Post Graduate Programme (PGP) is expected to be 90 percentile for General category students, same as last year. For EWS category too, the minimum qualifying CAT 2025 cut off will be 90 percentile. For NC-OBC candidates it could be 80 percentile whereas for SC/ST candidates, it could be 60 and 45 percentile, respectively.
According to IIM Indore admission criteria, candidates belonging to PWD category also need at least 45 percentile in CAT 2025 to be able to eligible for Personal Interview (PI).
Candidates must note that for admission to the institute, they have to not only meet the overall IIM Indore CAT cut off percentile but also the sectional cut offs. Thus, IIM Indore aspirants must aim to score above 90 percentile in the CAT 2025 exam.
IIM Indore PGP shortlist 2026 for the PI round will be released in January 2026 after the announcement of CAT 2025 result. Candidates who shall have selected IIM Indore as a preferred campus for MBA admission in the CAT 2025 application form, are eligible for the PI round. IIM Indore PI Shortlist 2025-2027: How to Check Status?
PI shortlist for PGP 2025 batch admission was released at the institute website. Given below are the steps to check the status:
- Go to IIM Indore website
- Click on option showing Provisional PI shortlist PGP 2025-2027
- Enter CAT 2025 registration ID
- Enter registered email ID or date of birth
- Click on 'Get Status'

For admission to 2025 batch, PI was conducted face-to-face. IIM Indore admission process consisted of three phases:

IIM Indore Selection Criteria 2025-27: Composite Score and Parameters for PI
Candidates were selected for the PI round based on a Composite Score arrived at by calculating marks obtained on the following parameters. The below parameters are for 2025-27 batch admission:

Candidates shortlisted on the basis of IIM Indore cut off 2025 for PI, were informed via email in January 2025. Shortlisted candidates had to participate in the PI round in person, schedule of which was shared with the selected candidates. The IIM Indore PI round was conducted in the following cities:

Final selection for IIM Indore admission was based on the Final Composite Score arrived at by computing each candidate’s performance on the following parameters:

Candidates who selected PGP course of IIM Indore, in the CAT 2024 application form were also eligible for PGP-HRM of IIM Indore. However, final selection was done as per the admission procedure for the respective programme. Upon selection, candidates were intimated via email in May 2024. Thereafter, candidates had to confirm admission by accepting the offer of admission letter and paying the requisite amount as first fee instalment. The mark sheet and passing certificate of final year Graduation must be submitted by December 31, 2025, failing which the admission will be cancelled.
The application fee for IIM Indore differs from course to course. For IIM Indore MBA admissions, candidates need not to apply anywhere else other than CAT. The application fee for CAT is INR 2,400 for general category.
Students need to pay the application fee in order to succesfully submit the application form for the desired couse at IIM Indore. Interested students can refer to the below table for IIM Indore application fee:

Candidates have to pay an application fee to register for any of the course of IIM Indore. There is concession in the fee for reserved category candidates. Check below the application fee for IIM Indore IPM:

The mode of Indian Institute of Management Indore course admissions is online. Admission to various courses is based on entrance exam scores and merit. The accepted entrance exams are CAT, CAT,1 Indore, and others. Candidates applying through the CAT must first register for the CAT exam. Then appear for the CAT exam. Those who qualify for CAT must appear for the WAT, PI, and other selection rounds. Then candidates will get an admission call according to their marks. Then students must report at the allotted and selected college.
The admission cycle for the flagship PGP courses of IIM-I starts in the month of August for the upcoming year's MBA admission batch. IIM Indore has adopted a three-stage selection process for admission to its PGP and PGP HRM programmes, which is as follows:
Eligibility criteria
All applicants must fulfil the eligibility requirements specified for PGP admission. A pass in any UG degree or completed a professional degree (CA/ CS/ ICWA/ FIAI) with at least 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates) is required to apply for PGP course.
Shortlist for PI
Only those aspirants satisfying the eligibility requirements will be shortlisted for PI round. Sufficient number of candidates for PI from each category will be shortlisted using the merit list generated based on composite score. Candidates shortlisted for PI will be intimated in the month of January 2023. Individual regret letters will not be sent to applicants who are not shortlisted for PI.
Final Selection
After completion of the above selection rounds, category-wise merit list is generated based on final composite score and provisional admission offers are made accordingly.
