In this section, we are going to discuss the important topics around TOEFL results and scores.

What is TOEFL Validity?

A lot of times, candidates are left wondering about the validity of their TOEFL scores. The TOEFL scores are valid for two years from the date of the TOEFL examination.

What is the difference between TOEFL Essential and TOEFL iBT?

TOEFL Essential and TOEFL iBT are both conducted by ETS. The TOEFL Essentials test measures the four core language skills: listening, reading, writing, and speaking. This test can be taken from home in only 1.5 hours for about half the price of other major English-language tests. TOEFL iBT stands for TOEFL Internet-Based Test. This test is usually given in a test centre, and the total test takes about 3 hours to complete.

When can I appear for the TOEFL test again?

Candidates looking to retake the TOEFL test can register for the same. However, the window period between two TOEFL tests has been set at three days. Hence, candidates can register for their second TOEFL test after three days of registering for the first TOEFL test.
