The German Foreign Ministry has launched a Consular Services Portal called digital.diplo.de in order to speed up the processing time of Germany student visas. This change is effective from February 17, 2025. Students can now apply for visa online, fill the application form and submit the documents. The students will also have to visit VFS Global only for biometrics after completing their application online.
