Dear Aditya, I have no idea of the Acharya Institute but being alumni of LPU, I can share the details of LPU with you. I would suggest you compare the following parameters:
Curriculum: If at all the curriculum is continuously upgraded and developed with consultations and feedback from the industry. Since it is a highly dynamic field, you can't afford a programme that is stuck in obsolete technologies and syllabi. Pedagogy: The teaching pedagogy forms the backbone of how the programme is delivered, more practical, better it is. Maximum exposure to practicals and internships more chances of becoming a well-rounded professional. Technology: The businesses and the business functions are now high tech-driven, the tech programme must have the exposure and training of the same. The world-leading technologies like SAP, GitHub, Advance excel, etc. Are a must for any professional to succeed in their career. Industry interface: Ultimately it's the industry that is going to immerse the students in the placements, the regular industrial talks, interactions, lectures, visits, and internships are a must-have in any tech programme. Professional etiquette: It is the most important part these days, personality, ethics, virtuous, speech, body language, interpersonal skills, etc. Are given high importance in the organizations. The programme must include the training or modules on all these. Diversity: As the world shrinks into an aligned economy, the professionals will be required to work in cross-cultural teams having entirely different work cultures and ethos, the national and international diversity of students in a college is helpful in enabling the students to develop the right sensibilities for such work atmosphere. Entrepreneurship: Even though most of the students go for jobs, exposure to entrepreneurship is required. This helps the professionals know how the other departments and the profit center heads work, what are the expectations etc. The college must have innovation labs, design thinking, and a business incubator. Placements: The programme is the only means to the end! And desired end of such a course is a placement. You must check if the college/university has solid a track record of placements or not. If your college ticks all these right boxes, go for it!
More than 600 companies visit LPU for placements and offer up to 42 LPA. I hope this helps
Thank You!

Hi, Choosing a university is a big decision and a challenging task, as our career depends upon that. All the universities are doing equally well, but here, I would prefer LPU. There are several reasons for the same. LPU has the infrastructure of global standards, internationally benchmarked curricula, the rich diversity of students, innovative pedagogy for participative and experiential learning, research, innovation and entrepreneurship, foreign tie-ups, experienced faculty, active academia-industry interface, outstanding sports, and residential facilities. LPU has ranked among top-100 in the Overall as well as University category by NIRF-2020 rankings. LPU ranks amongst the Top 200 universities globally as per the prestigious Times Higher Education Impact Rankings 2021, which assess universities against the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). LPU Becomes the First Private University to be Granted ICAR Accreditation By Ministry of Agriculture, Government of India. LPU has an impressive track record of academic, placement, entrepreneurship, and related support services, which have resulted in spectacular all-around achievements and healthy career progression of students. Thanks.

In India, CSE is one of the most demanding fields. Though all the universities mentioned are good in terms of academics but let me take LPU example to explain. Computer Science and Engineering programme is a popular branch among students and offers decent job opportunities after graduation. Students who are interested in programming, software development, computer Science and have good analytical and reasoning skills may pursue this course. With the high demand of computer Science and technology in the industry, B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering courses have gained potential which land students in various positions- Systems Analyst, Web Developer, Finance Programmer, Software Engineer, Product Manager, Game Developer, and many more. The University has tie ups with variuos industries like Google, Intel, DellEMC, BOSCH, CISCO, VMware IT academy, PEGA, Automation Everywhere, CompTIA in order to keep the students in pace with the changing technological advances. Tie ups with industry also enables the content delivery by Industry Experts, Projects in Collaboration with Industry and Internships to provide practical hands on experience. Industry certifications, MOOCs, Hackathons / Co-curricular Competitive events, Workshops, Guest lectures, Educational Trips, Live projects, Incubation projects, Community projects, projects with NGOs etc. Are an integral part of curriculum. LPU has the best placement for B.Tech CSE. Tanya Arora, a final year B.Tech Computer Science Engineering student of Lovely Professional University, has bagged a whopping Rs 42 Lac job offer from Microsoft. Thanks to the reservation system, it depends on your caste. If you're from SC/ST, a rank of somewhere around 200 would be enough. If you belong to the OBC categories then a rank of around 100150 would do. Here

If you're from general category, you need to have a rank of around 25! Yes it's 25 only. Speaking of other branches, you can just take twice the ranks I mentioned. Visit for details: http://www.btechadmission.co.in/.
