All you need is a specific course that can help you hone your talent. One such course in Animation is the MSc in Animation. This course is suitable for candidates with creative and imaginative skills. This postgraduate course is specifically designed to teach students the advanced skills of creating drawings or models in the illusion of movement or motion. MSc in Animation is a two year course consisting of 4 semesters. These semesters focus on the basics of animation and the latest software used in the field. Eligibility Criteria for MSc in Animation

The eligibility criteria to pursue an MSc in Animation may vary by college. Therefore, the candidates must check the eligibility criteria by visiting the website of the college in which they want to take admission. However, if we talk about the general criteria, then most of the colleges ask for a bachelor's degree from a recognized college / university with at least 50 percent marks in animation or allied subjects. Generally students pursuing courses like BSc in Animation, BSc in Multimedia and Animation, BA VFX and Animation etc are given preference for admission. Many colleges allow candidates to participate in their admission process only if they have completed their graduation from a recognized college.

Entrance Exams for MSc in Animation

Some colleges admit students on the basis of merit. This merit is decided on the basis of qualifying exam i.e. Graduation marks. There's no need for a game designer to draw well. Game designers design game mechanics, UI, AI behaviors, level layouts, balance, economy, and the like. They may need to draw some schemes to explain their ideas in a more visual way, but typically they don't need to draw well.
