AIIMS is one of the most reputed teaching hospitals in our country. To get into AIIMS, candidates need an excellent NEET or AIIMS paramedical exam score. Even if AIIMS is not the goal, a good NEET or CUET score opens doors to both government and private colleges in India. But that doesn't mean there are no other options. Many University-level exams allow entrance to many good private colleges as well.
Candidates need to understand that sometimes failure is an option they didn't see coming, and therefore also apply to other colleges, keeping a backup plan. Other mistakes include: not checking the required subjects, missing out on events/guidelines, and not examining eligibility criteria thoroughly.
There are more colleges that accept a NEET score in comparison to those accepting CUET scores. CUET offers less competition and lower cutoff, but also a lesser option of colleges to choose from.

Compared to MBBS, BSc Nursing is easy. There are some subjects like anatomy, microbiology, physiology, that requires studying hard. At the end of the day, easy or hard is purely subjective to each student and their interests.
Failure is part of growth. A student who fails a semester exam can either be allowed to give a back paper or they could be allowed to give the exam again in the next academic year. But this depends on the university or college rules.
Subjects like Anatomy and Pysiology are very important to learn in BSc Nursing. These subjects teach students the basics of modern medicine. To become a good nurse, students should master these subjects. Microbiology and Pathalogy are also important.

Government hospitals are the highest payers in the Nursing field. They provide better job security along with benefits like pensions, allowances, etc. Private hospitals pay less than government hospitals but the pay is still better than corporate or Industrial jobs. Hospitals provide better clinical exposure, but that is a point of preference of a corporate office to a hospital.
Return on Investment or ROI basically means expense over returns. It asks the question of how the expense you put into a course like the fees, living expenses and other costs incurred due to the course compares to the monetary returns gained because of it. ROI is found by subtracting the total benefits from the total costs. Now divide this by the total costs. Multiply the quotient by 100 and what you will get is the ROI percentage.
The Chief Nursing Officers (CNO) and Nursing Superintendents/Directors in central government roles are the highest paid positions in India. According to Ambition Box, their salary ranges from 16 LPA to 18 LPA. On average CNO makes 16.9L annually. The top 10% and 1% make 22 LPA and 37 LPA, respectively.
