IBSAT 2024: Exam Dates (Out), Application Form (Available), Eligibility, Syllabus, Results

ICFAI Business School has released the IBSAT 2024 notification at general.ibsindia.org. Candidates seeking admission to MBA/PGDM programme of IBS must fill the online application form. Authorities have commenced the IBSAT 2024 registrations soon after the release of notification. IBSAT 2024 registration is an online process.

IBSAT 2024 registrations has commenced online. Candidates seeking admission to MBA/PGDM programme of ICFAI Business School campuses must fill the online application form on or before the last date. IBSAT 2024 application form last date is expected to be in third week of December 2024. Candidates who will fill the IBSAT application form 2024 must ensure to fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria, failing which their candidature will stand cancelled. As per the IBSAT eligibility criteria, candidate must be agraduate with a required minimum percentage. Also, candidates appearing in the final examination of qualifying degree will be eligible for IBSAT exam. Only candidates who will fill the complete application form along with the payment of application fee will be issued the IBSAT admit card. 

IBSAT 2024 application process will end tentatively in third week of December 2024. Candidates will be able to fill the IBSAT registration form in online and offline modes. The registration process will commence in first week of July 2024 on the official webiste of ICFAI Business School. Candidates will be able to fill the IBSAT 2024 application form on the official website of IBS- ibsindia.org. Candidates must enter their personal details to create login credentials and fill the application form. For successful registration candidates must have ensured to pay the IBSAT application fee of INR 1800. Candidates who registered successfully along with the payment of application fee will be able to book exam slot and download the admit card online.

Step 1- Go to the IBSAT login page and click on the "Forgot Password" tab.

Step 2- Enter your registered email address to receive the link for chamging passowrd.

Step 3- A link will be sent on the registered email address.

Step 4- Click on the link and reset the password and click on the "Submit" button.

Step 5- Once you have reset your password, you can log in to your IBSAT account, book the exam slot and download your admit card. If you face any issues while resetting your password, you can contact the IBS office helpline or send an email to the IBS helpdesk for assistance.

For IBSAT Data Adequacy and Data Interpretation section, it is crucial to have a strong understanding of data interpretation, analysis, and problem-solving. Here are some important topics to prepare from:

• Data Interpretation: Tables, charts, graphs (bar graphs, line graphs, pie charts), and Venn diagrams.
• Data Sufficiency: This tests your ability to determine whether the given data is sufficient to answer a particular question.
• Data Analysis: Topics such as averages, percentages, ratios, and comparisons. Practice solving questions that require calculations, comparisons, and logical reasoning based on the given data.
• Logical Reasoning: It may include topics like seating arrangements, blood relations, coding-decoding, series completion, and analytical puzzles.
• Caselets: You need to read and understand the caselet and extract relevant information, and solve the questions based on the given data.
  

1. Download the admit card from the official website. The IBSAT admit card is the most important document of proof of all the candidates appearing for IBSAT 2024 exam.
2. Candidates must check the wifi connection for a table internet connection while giving the exam.
3. Sit in the calm corners of the home to avoid any kind of distractions.
4. Check your webcam before beginning the exam.
5. Keep the copy of IBSAT 2024 admit card ready on the desktop.

7. Ensure that the web cam and mic is working properly while giving examination.
8. Ensure proper lightening in the room.
9. Take the exam from a silent place in the home.

Incase if any discrepancy or mismatch in IBSAT admit card details in comparison to the actual document will lead to disqualification of the candidate for future IBSAT examination process. Still, if candidates find any discrepancy in IBSAT 2024 admit card they must immediately contact at the helpline number of the ICFAI Business School (IBS). Candidates must follow the instructions as guided by the authorities to modify the details in the IBSAT 2024 admit card.

IBSAT 2024 slot booking window will open tentatively in first week of November 2024. Only registered candidates who will complete the application process along with the payment of the application fee were able to book the exam slot. To book the IBSAT exam slot candidates must follow the steps mentioned below:

Step 1- Visit the official website of IBS and login with the credentials

Step 2- Click on the tab ‘Schedule IBSAT’

Step 3- Click on the link provided for login

Step 4- Screen will now display the login page. Enter the credentials:

• Application Number
• Date of Birth (DDMMYYYY format)
• Enter the captcha

Step 5- Click on the tab ‘Book a seat’

Step 6- Enter the following details:

• Test name
• City
• Date
• Test centre name
• Test centre address

Step 7- Select the suitable exam timing and click on the tab ‘Book’

Step 8- Candidates will be given 1 minute to confirm the timing of the examination.

Step 9- Screen will now display the candidate and examination details.

Step 10- Download the IBSAT admit card.

Incase candidates are unable to book the IBSAT exam slot, in such a scenario, candidates must check the internet connection and login again and try booking the IBSAT 2024 exam slot again. If the problem persists, candidates must immediately contact at IBS  office helpline number- +91–040–2344 0963/62/61/60 on working days. Candidates can also register their complaint on ibsat (at)ibsindia.org. Candidates must also try the following measures to book IBSAT exam slot/download the admit card:

1. Candidates must make sure that they have a secure and smooth internet connection to download the IBSAT admit card.
2. Candidates must ensure that they have entered the correct login credentials: application number and Password.
3. Candidates must clear the browser cache and cookies and try again.
4. Candidates can also try a upgraded browser to access the IBS website.
5. Candidates must ensure that they have filled the complete IBSAT application form along with the payment of application fee of INR 1800

IBSAT 2023 results were announced on December 28, 2024. Candidates who will qualify the IBSAT exam or have qualified the CAT (2021 onwards), XAT (2021 onwards), NMAT by GMAC (2021 onwards) or any other national level or state-level entrance examination will have to appear for the following rounds:

1. Selection Briefing: In this stae authorities introduces candidates to programs and IBS admission process. Candidates must appear for the IBSAT selection briefing round as per given time and date.
2. Group Discussion: Soon after the selection briefing roun, shortlisted candidates will have to appear for the IBS selection rounds- Group discussion and personal interview. In this round, a group consisting of 8-10 candidates is created. Then they are given some topics or case study to discuss for 15-20 minutes. This is done to test the leadership and negotiation skills of candidates. To excel in this round, candidates should read current affairs, newspapers and business magazines regularly. 
3. Personal Interview: Those who will successfully clear the GD round are called for PI round. This PI round judges candidate's communications skills, confidence, business aptitude and general attitude. Candidates should remain cool and calm during this final round. 

The IBSAT 2024 results will be declared along with the score and percentile. The IBS admission cut off is decided on the basis of three parameters:
1. The total number of candidates appearing in the IBSAT 2024 exam. The more the number of candidates, the higher the cut off will be.
2. The overall difficulty level in the IBSAT exam 2024. If the exam is difficult, the cut off will be lower.
3. The total number of seats available at the institute. The fewer the seats, the higher the cut off will be.
In addition to the overall IBSAT cut-offs 2024, many of the IBSAT accepting colleges also consider IBSAT sectional score cut-offs. This means that candidates must score a minimum in each section of the exam in order to be considered for admission.
For example, the IBSAT sectional cut-off for the Quant section may be 33%, while the sectional cut-off for the Verbal section may be 25%. This means that a candidate must score at least 33% in the Quant section and 25% in the Verbal section in order to be considered for admission.
The IBSAT cut offs are released by each institute separately. Candidates can check the cut offs on the official website of the institute.
