IBSAT 2023 slot booking is ongoing. Registered candidates can now book the exam slot and download the IBSAT 2023 admit card till the date of examination. IBSAT 2023 registrations are ongoing at ibsindia.org. Candidates aspiring to appear for the IBS entrance exam must fill the online application form. Candidates must ensure to fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria before registering for IBSAT 2023 exam. The exam is scheduled to be held on December 23 and December 24, 2023. Candidates desiring to take admission to the MBA/PGDM program of IBS 9 campuses must appear for the IBSAT 2023 exam to appear for the admission process.  

What is IBSAT?

IBS Aptitude Test or IBSAT is a national-level entrance exam conducted by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (deemed to be University) for admission to MBA/PGPM programs.  IBSAT scores are accepted by nine ICFAI Business Schools (IBS), namely IBS Hyderabad, IBS Mumbai, IBS Bengaluru, IBS Pune, IBS Gurgaon, IBS Kolkata, IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Jaipur, and IBS Dehradun. IBSAT is a two-hour Computer-based test (CBT) comprising multiple-choice questions. IBSAT is a computer-based test that is generally conducted over a window of two days in December. Qualified candidates will have to first attend a selection briefing round and then appear for the final selection rounds, including Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.

IBSAT 2023 Application Form

The first step of the admission process begins with filling the IBSAT 2023 application form. Candidates are required to fill the application form within the slated time, as there would be no provision for submitting the IBSAT 2023 application forms beyond the deadline. IBS aspirants can apply for the IBSAT 2023 exam online only. The application process starts with the creation of login ID and password and end with payment of the application fee of INR 1800. IBSAT is conducted in multiple test cities across the country.  

IBSAT Eligibility Criteria 2023

 Candidates will be required to fulfill the following eligibility criteria to apply for the IBSAT 2023 exam: 

  • Candidates should have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline with a minimum 50 percent aggregate 
  • Candidates not meeting the eligibility criteria of English medium in graduation need to submit the TOEFL/ NELT/ IELTS score 
  • Applicants in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply  
  • Candidates with a valid score of GMAT, CAT and NMAT by GMAC need not appear for IBSAT and can apply for direct admission

IBSAT Syllabus 2023

IBS does not prescribe the exact syllabus for IBSAT 2023. However, based on the previous year's question papers the topics for IBSAT 2023 syllabus are similar to that of CAT. IBSAT 2023 syllabus will be divided into four sections. To ace the exam candidates must know the important topics for IBSAT 2023.

IBSAT Exam Pattern 2023

IBSAT 2023 exam pattern prescribes the sections, time limit, and number of questions in a exam paper. As per the exam pattern of IBSAT 2023 the question paper will be divided into four sections. There will be no sectional time limit and candidates will be able to switch between sections as per their preference. IBSAT 2023 exam will be conducted for a duration of 120 minutes.

IBSAT 2023 Preparation Tips

IBSAT is a speed-based test and students need to solve 140 questions within two hours. Keeping this in mind, candidates should chalk out an IBSAT preparation timeline to cover essential topics from the syllabus. Also, they need to shortlist and refer to the best books for IBSAT preparation, five-year IBSAT sample papers and online mock tests. They must follow the below-mentioned tips while preparing for IBSAT 2023:

1. Allot three to four months to cover the IBSAT syllabus

2. Analyse self-preparation level through practice of IBSAT sample papers

3. Read each topic included in the IBSAT syllabus and simultaneously create short notes on each topic to revise them from time to time

4. Rather than randomly preparing the topics, follow a systematic plan to complete the IBSAT syllabus

5. Discuss all the doubts with peer members to clarify them and also help others in the group to clarify their doubts as well

IBSAT 2023 mock test date will be announced soon after the release. Candidates must appear for the IBSAT mock test to become familiar with the actual exam environment and pattern of the question paper. Authorities have released the IBSAT admit card 2023. Candidates will be able to download their admit card after booking the exam slot. The window for IBSAT 2023 slot booking is now active.

Candidates preparing for the IBSAT exam must download the question paper to know the exam pattern, syllabus and difficulty level over past years. IBSAT question paper helps candidates in assessing their preparation level and improves their speed and accuracy within the exam duration.

IBSAT Result 2023

IBSAT 2023 scorecard will be released on the official website. In order to check the scorecard and download IBSAT 2023 result, test-takers are needed to log in using the hall ticket number, registration number and date of birth. Based on the scores obtained by the test takers, they were called for successive rounds.

Based on the performance in IBSAT 2023, shortlisted candidates will have to appear for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. In these rounds, candidates are judged on the basis of their optimistic outlook, leadership qualities and negotiation skills.

IBSAT Cutoff 2023

IBSAT 2023 cutoff will be released soon after the declaration of result. Candidates meeting the IBSAT cutoff 2023 will be shortlisted for the GD-PI rounds on the basis of which final admissions will be granted to the students. As per the previous year's cutoff, the IBSAT cutoff for IBS Hyderabad is expected to be 72-78. IBSAT cutoff 2023 will be released across 8 IBS campuses- Hyderabad, Mumbai, Gurugram, Bengaluru, Dehradun, Jaipur, Ahmedabad and Kolkata.
