IBSAT 2022 exam schedule window has been repoened. The IBSAT 2022 exam will be held again in February 2023 for the candidates who were not able to attend the December 2022 session exam. Earlier, IBSAT result 2022 was announced at ibsindia.org for December examination. Candidates can now check the IBSAT cutoff. The exam was conducted in AI proctored mode on December 24 and December 25, 2022. IBSAT 2022 registrations are open again. Candidates must ensure to have fulfiled the prescribed IBSAT eligibility criteria before filling out the application form. Candidates desiring to take admission to the MBA/PGDM program of IBS 9 campuses must appear for the IBSAT 2022 exam to appear for the admission process.  

What is IBSAT?

IBS Aptitude Test or IBSAT is a national level entrance exam conducted by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (a deemed to be University) for admission to MBA/PGPM programmes.  IBSAT scores are accepted by nine ICFAI Business Schools (IBS), namely IBS Hyderabad, IBS Mumbai, IBS Bengaluru, IBS Pune, IBS Gurgaon, IBS Kolkata, IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Jaipur and IBS Dehradun. IBSAT is a two-hour Computer-based test (CBT) comprising multiple-choice questions. IBSAT is a computer-based test that is generally conducted over a window of two days in December. Qualified candidates will have to first attend a selection briefing round and then appear for the final selection rounds, including Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) round.

IBSAT 2022 Admit Card

Authorities will release the IBSAT admit card for February 2023 examination. Candidates will be downlaod their admit card when released. The window for slot booking is open now till the date of examination. 

IBSAT Result 2022

IBSAT 2022 scorecard is released on the official website. In order to check the scorecard and download IBSAT 2022 result, test-takers need to log in using the hall ticket number, registration number and date of birth. Based on the scores obtained by the test takers, they will be called for successive rounds.

Based on the performance in IBSAT 2022, shortlisted candidates have to appear for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. In these rounds, candidates are judged on the basis of their optimistic outlook, leadership qualities and negotiation skills.

IBSAT Cutoff 2022

IBSAT 2022 cutoff will be released soon after the declaration of result. Candidates meeting the IBSAT cutoff 2022 will be shortlisted for the GD-PI rounds on the basis of which final admissions will be granted to the students. As per the previous year's cutoff, the IBSAT cutoff for IBS Hyderabad is expected to be 72-78. IBSAT cutoff 2022 will be released across 8 IBS campuses- Hyderabad, Mumbai, Gurugram, Bengaluru, Dehradun, Jaipur, Ahmedabad and Kolkata.

IBSAT Question Paper 2022

Candidates preparing for the IBSAT exam must download the question paper to know the exam pattern, syllabus and difficulty level over past years. IBSAT question paper helps candidates in assessing their preparation level and improves their speed and accuracy within the exam duration.

IBSAT Application Form 2022

The first step of the admission process begins with filling out the IBSAT 2022 application form. Candidates were needed to fill the application form within the slated time, as there would not be any provision for submitting the IBSAT 2022 application forms beyond the deadline. IBS aspirants could apply for the IBSAT 2022 exam online. The application process started with the creation of login ID and password and end with payment of application fee of INR 1800. IBSAT is conducted in multiple test cities across the country.  

IBSAT Eligibility Criteria 2022

 Candidates needed to fulfil the following eligibility criteria to apply for the IBSAT 2022 exam: 

  • Candidates should have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline with a minimum 50 per cent aggregate 
  • Candidates not meeting the eligibility criteria of English medium in graduation need to submit the TOEFL/ NELT/ IELTS score 
  • Applicants in their final year of graduation are also eligible to apply  
  • Candidates with a valid score of GMAT, CAT and NMAT by GMAC need not appear for IBSAT and can apply for direct admission

IBS does not prescribe the exact syllabus for IBSAT 2022. However, based on the previous year question papers the topics for IBSAT 2022 syllabus is similar to that of CAT. IBSAT Exam Pattern 2022

IBSAT 2022 exam pattern prescribes the sections, time limit and a number of questions in a question paper. As per the exam pattern of IBSAT 2022 the question paper will be divided into four sections. There will be no sectional time limit and candidates will be able to switch between sections as per their preference. IBSAT 2022 exam will be conducted for a duration of 120 minutes.

A: IBSAT exam is computer-based. Last year, the exam was conducted in an Internet-Based Test (IBT) mode or a remote proctored mode due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, the exam might be conducted in test centres located across 95 cities depending on the discretion of the exam authorities.

A: There will be 140 questions in a total of one mark each. The VA section will have 50 Questions, RC will have 30 Questions, QA will have 30 questions and DA/DI will have 30 questions.

Q: Can students in their graduation apply for IBSAT exam?

A:  Yes, as per the eligibility criteria of the IBSAT exam, any candidate who is in the final year of their bachelor's degree can apply for the IBSAT exam. However, they will have to submit their passing certificate by August.

Q: What is the fee for PGPM program at IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Bengaluru, IBS Gurgaon, IBS Kolkata, IBS Mumbai and IBS Pune?

A: The fee for PGPM program at IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Bengaluru, IBS Gurgaon, IBS Kolkata, IBS Mumbai and IBS Pune is approx. Rs 4 lakh per annum and is subject to change.

Q: Is work experience necessary criteria for the IBSAT selection process?

A: No. The candidate's work experience is not counted in the selection process. However, it is a desirable parameter that the selection panel takes into consideration for candidate's selection.

Since there is no negative ma...As per the analysis of previous year's papers, the IBSAT exam is of moderate level. It is relatively easier than other management exams like the CAT MAT or CMAT. There are a total of 140 questions, divided into four sections. Each of these questions carries one mark. Since there is no negative marking, the IBSAT is relatively less challenging than an exam like the IIFT. Also, the Verbal Ability section dominates the question paper with 50 questions of moderate difficulty. This makes the IBSAT paper easier to score with just six months of preparation. The quantitative and reasoning questions can be difficult sometimes, but these tough questions can be balanced out by easy questions in the same section. However, the cutoff is higher due to competition because only 10 IB schools accept IBSAT scores.

1. Understand the syllabus and exam pattern of the IBSAT exam.
2. Devise a study plan as per the exam date and available time to study.
3. Six months are sufficient to prepare for the IBSAT therefore, utilize this time properly.
4. Complete all topics from the IBSAT syllabus four months before the actual exam.
5. Select study material carefully; for the Reading Comprehension section, Business Communication by Clark and Word Power Made Easy by Norman Lewis are sufficient, along with the newspaper.
6. You can study Quantitative Aptitude topics from Arun Sharma or RS Agrawal. Try to note down formulas separately to revise regularly ahead of the exam.
7. For the Verbal Ability section, the English Proficiency Test from IMS India would be sufficient. You can select other books as well, as per your requirements.
8. Nishit Sinha's Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning will be helpful in the DI section, along with a section-wise mock test.
9. In addition to the mock test, solve the previous year's IBSAT question papers two months before the exam.
10. You can refer to online IBSAT preparation guides and videos to prepare well for topics in which you are scoring lower. Be confident in your preparation to do well on exam day.

1. Understand the syllabus and exam pattern of the IBSAT exam.
2. Devise a study plan as per the exam date and available time to study.
3. Six months are sufficient to prepare for the IBSAT therefore, utilize this time properly.
4. Complete all topics from the IBSAT syllabus four months before the actual exam.
5. Select study material carefully; for the Reading Comprehension section, Business Communication by Clark and Word Power Made Easy by Norman Lewis are sufficient, along with the newspaper.

4. Following the results announcement, the authorities host a session to inform qualified students about the IBS programs and admissions procedure. It is known as the "selection briefings, " which will be done in January 2023.
5. Following that, the offline selection process for admission to the ICFAI will begin at each campus.
6. There are three rounds in the selection process: group discussion, Personal Interview and admission.
7. In the group discussion round, 8–10 candidate groups will be created to discuss an important issue.
