CCSU Highlights 2026
Chaudhary Charan Singh University is a Public State University in Meerut. It was earlier known as Meerut University. BTech & BSc are the flagship courses of the university. Check below for some of the major highlights of CCSU Meerut:
- Ranking: The university has been ranked 41 under the "State Public Universities" category by NIRF 2025.
- Courses: The courses are offered at the UG, PG & PhD levels. Diploma & Certificate courses are also offered. At the UG level courses like BA, BSC, BTech, etc are offered. MSc, MBA, MCA, MA, etc are offered at the PG level.

No, Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2027 registrations have not commenced yet. The registration window will be active at cuet.nta.nic.in. NTA will release the CUET 2027 notification in first week of January. Soon after the release of the CUET official notification, the CUET registration 2027 process will commence online at the official website. Candidates willing to appear for the CUET 2027 exam must complete the application form online. Additionally, before filling application form, candidates must make sure that they have fulfilled the prescribed CUET eligibility criteria to qualify for the entrance exam.

CCSU Admission Updates 2026
Chaudhary Charan Singh University Meerut admission is based on entrance exams. Registration forms are out for the available course admissions such as PG Diploma in Cyber Crime and Law. For admission to MSW course, in addition to the minimum marks for admission, one–third weightage is given to the performance of the students in Group Discussion & Personal Interview rounds. Commonly asked questions On Admissions
CUET result 2026 will be declared tentatively in first week of July 2026. Candidates who will appear for the exam can download their CUET scorecard online when released. The link to download the CUET scorecard will be available at CUET results 2026. Candidates will be required to enter the login credentials to view the CUET 2026 scorecard online. CUET scores are used for admission to various universities/colleges that candidates has applied for while filling the application form. Candidates must download and take the print of the CUET 2026 results when released. CUET UG 2026 exam will be held from May 11 to May 31.
NTA had started the CUET PG 2026 application process on December 14, 2025, at the official website for admissions to the master's degree programmes offered at various participating institutes.
CUET PG registration process 2026 was completely online, and candidates could fill out the application form by creating a registered account at the official website. The last date for filling out the CUET PG application form 2026 was January 23, 2026. Originally, the last date of application was January 14, 2026, which was extended till January 20 and January 23. The application fee had to be paid by January 25, 11.50 PM.
Candidates who meet the minimum eligibility criteria, i.e., a Bachelor's degree with at least 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for SC/ ST) can apply. The application process is completely online. Candidates can visit CCSU official website (ccsuniversity.ac.in) to register, fill out, and submit the application form. Admission to MBA at CCSU can be through CUET-PG as UPCET has been scrapped.
Candidates who passed class 12 with 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST) are eligible to apply for BBA (General) course. In addition, for BBA in Hospital Administration, the candidate must have passed class 12 or an equivalent exam with Biology/commerce and at least 50% aggregate (45% for SC/ST) are eligible for admission.

CCSU Meerut University awards good scholarships to students as financial help. CCSU Meerut scholarships includes UGC, CSIR, DST-Inspire, Dr. D.S. Kothari fellowship, etc. Another financial assistance scheme introduced this year is Pradhan Mantri Vidyalaxmi (PM-Vidyalaxmi) Scheme. Key features of this scheme are given below:
- Education loan under Pm-Vidyalaxmi is collateral free, guarantor free.
- Loan applications are made through a new simple, transparent, student-friendly & entirely digital application process.
- Loan amounts up to INR 7.5 lakhs get 75% credit guarantee by the Government of India.
- Furthermore, for students with up to INR 8 lakhs annual family income, the scheme provides for 3% interest subvention on loans up to INR 10 lakh.
- This is in addition to the full interest subvention already offered to students with up to INR 4.5 lakh annual family income under PM-USP Central Sector Interest Subsidy (PM-USP CSIS).

The university shortlists candidates for MBA based on CUET-PG scores as UPCET has been scrapped out. Candidates are now shortlisted based on CUET-PG and will further be invited for counselling. Candidates who successfully go through the counselling will further be allotted a seat. The Central University Entrance Test (Postgraduate) or CUET PG, is an all-India level entrance exam which is being introduced for admission into PG programmes. The exam is conducted in a computer-based mode for 105 minutes or 1 hour 45 minutes.
