Students majorly pursue BBA or MBA in Operations Management. The topics covered in this course are mainly aimed at providing knowledge on supply chain, production, and manufacturing. The BBA in Operations Management course can be completed in 3 years duration, while MBA in Operations Management can be pursued in 2 years.   • The minimum eligibility criteria to pursue Operations as a specialisation in MBA is Graduation with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent in any stream from a recognised university. Final-year candidates or people with work experience are also eligible to apply.
  • For Reserved category students minimum cut-off marks are usually 45% in aggregate.
  • A prerequisite for admission to this course in many institutes is entrance exam scores like CAT/XAT/MAT/CMAT, etc. However, some institutes induct students on merit only.

Operations Syllabus

Since Operations is taught as a specialisation in the MBA degree programme, the course curriculum includes all aspects of management and business studies along with a dedicated semester for topics specific to Operations management.
