The college offers undergraduate courses in English, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Journalism and Mass Education, Sanskrit and Physical Education. The college also provides a one-year diploma programme in Conflict Transformation and Peacebuilding. It also has the provision for a BA programme.

The candidates have to fill up the application form, and a merit list is prepared by the college according to the marks obtained by them in the 12th standard exam. If a candidate has been able to get the cut-off marks set by the college authority, then he/she can take admission.

Lady Shri Ram College for Women Placements & Internships
In the session 2018-19, 115 students got placed in the recruitment drive. The average salary package was 7.5 LPA and the highest salary package was 37.8 LPA. More than 100 companies participated in the recruitment drive. Many companies like Embibe, Musigma, Inmobi and start-ups like Indus Insights, Study Pad and Cogito Hub visited the campus for the first time. The key recruiters were Deloitte, Samsung, Bloomberg, Mckinsey & Company, KPMG and EY.
With the assistance of LSR-IQAC and Dr Renu Kaul, the teacher-in-charge, a 2-month long internship is provided at the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation to the students of the Department of Statistics. Under the supervision SDG Monitoring Unit of Social Statistics Division, different projects were handed over to the students.
In the session 2018-19, more than 320 companies visited the college. The highest package offered for an internship was INR 1,50,000 for two months. Many companies like Standard Chartered, Amnesty International, Nomura, JSW, CitiBank, Yes Bank, Outlook Magazine and ED Times provided students opportunities for internships.
