What is AI & Robotics?
Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be defined as the technology that uses computer and its applications to model and/or replicate human behaviour and thought processes. It includes learning (the acquisition of information and rules for using the information), reasoning (using rules to reach approximate or definite conclusions) and self-correction.
Robotics is a branch of engineering that involves the conception, design, manufacture, and operation of robots.
Artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics are a powerful combination for automating tasks inside and outside of the factory setting. In recent years, AI has become an increasingly common presence in robotic solutions, introducing flexibility and learning capabilities in previously rigid applications.
Nowadays, there is a huge demand of AI and robotics in different sectors including manufacturing, health, automobile and others. Interested candidates can get enrolled to various courses offered by different colleges for specialization in AI and Robotics. One can also pursue AI specialization from within majors such as computer science, health informatics, graphic design, information technology or engineering. Career in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics can be realized within a variety of settings including private companies, public organizations, education, the arts, healthcare facilities, government agencies and the military.

Robotics and automation is highly technical and need good faculty. I will suggest you to go for other options if you want good job in near future. If you want to go for higher studies in this branch, then you can opt this course as this course will only provide you basic I think so. Also, I don't think placement will start immediately, it will take time. Course is good and meet the requirement of future trend jobs but I don't think this college can provide you good knowledge in robotics in initial years.
