What is AI & Robotics?

Artificial Intelligence (AI) can be defined as the technology that uses computer and their applications to model and/or replicate human behaviour and thought processes. It includes learning (the acquisition of information and rules for using the information), reasoning (using rules to reach approximate or definite conclusions) and self-correction.

Robotics is a branch of engineering that involves the conception, design, manufacture, and operation of robots.

Artificial intelligence (AI) and Robotics along with Machine Learning (ML) and the Internet of Things (IoT) form a powerful combination for automating tasks inside and outside of the factory setting. In recent years, AI has become an increasingly common presence in robotic solutions, introducing flexibility and learning capabilities in previously rigid applications.

Nowadays, there is a huge demand for AI and robotics in different sectors including manufacturing, health, automobile and others. Interested candidates can get enrolled on various courses offered by different colleges for specialization in Artificial intelligence (AI) and Robotics. One can also pursue AI specialization from within majors such as computer science, health informatics, graphic design, information technology, ML, IoT or engineering. A career in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics can be realized within a variety of settings including private companies, public organizations, education, the arts, healthcare facilities, government agencies and the military.

What is Machine Learning?

Machine learning is a part of Artificial Intelligence (AI) that provides knowledge to computers through data, observations and interaction with the world. The acquired knowledge allows computers to automatically improve with experience, and generate more accurate results.

Using Machine Learning (ML), Computers analyse the data to learn from it, identify patterns and make decisions with minimal human intervention. It makes computers get into a self-learning mode without explicit programming. When fed new data, these computers learn, grow, change, and develop by themselves.

Applications of Machine Learning

Almost every industry is using Machine learning because of a wide range of its applications. Below are a few applications of it.

  • Virtual Personal Assistant: Siri and Alexa are some of the common examples of virtual personal assistants.
  • Facial recognition
  • Email spam filter
  • Recommendation engine on an e-commerce website
  • Online fraud detection
  • Online Customer Support i.e. Chatbot
  • Search Engine Result Refining

Skills Required to Become a Machine Learning Expert

To become an expert at Machine Learning expert, professionals must have the following four skills:

  • Computer Organisation
  • System Architecture and Layers
  • Data Modeling
  • Sound knowledge of programming languages such as Python and R
  • Analytical skill

AI, Machine Learning & Robotics courses eligibility

Colleges across India offers Artificial intelligence (AI) and Robotics courses in various modes and at various levels. Students will also get good practical knowledge of Machine Learning (ML) and the Internet of Things (IoT) during any of the course. The eligibility for each course varies depending on its levels and mode. Interested candidates can have a look at the generic eligibility criteria that candidates must fulfil before joining any course on AI, Machine Learning & Robotics.

I guess you must be the same student as I was 1 year ago desperately searching for a good college as it is one of the important factors for a good and decent future and in the way of searching this good college I came to know about a university that promised to fulfill every demand that my better and decent future was demanding. So I called them and asked every question my mind was full of but a strange thing happened while cutting the call last line CU representative told me was there are just 4 seats left. So you will have to decide within next 10 minutes. Strange ! Now I have to decide my whole future in just 10 minutes. I was already too exhausted searching colleges for me. So in hurry or in pressure that they created for me, I got trapped in there plan and took admission here. And then the real game begun, at first every thing was like paradise. Every wish of new Students were fulfilled like we are god or modi :p and all that because they thought that if we will treat them good then they might call their friends for admission but as soon as time passed and all classes gets started (which happened till last of october) they started showing their colors. In just 5 months everything changed. Food Became the worst. Teaching (leave it, you will cry if I will write about it)
Internet (They claim they have full campus, if this is true, then I guess I am living outside campus from last year because I haven't seen open Wi-Fi anywhere in campus. )
Even They Bloked the good and useful site like javatpoint. Just to save bandwidhth money now you must got an idea if they can block a study related site, just think the condition of other sites.
