Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very bad and I did not expected before coming to this college. Hostel is a little better compared to off-campus and department buildings. Wi-Fi facility is also bad. The library is better with air conditioning and books are sufficient for the course.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good and nice. The course is relevant and nice. Students are industry-ready. The semesters are moderate and okay, and we can write well. The pass percentage is 90% of this college.
Other: I chose this course because I like electrical components and engineering. The best things about the course are labs and everything. Some lecturers are not up to the level and cannot teach well. Events are good in this college.

IIT BHU- Banaras Hindu University student review.
Placements: Around 82% of students got placed in our course. As we saw, even electrical students get a salary package of 1.68 CPA, and the highest salary package offered is 55 LPA. The average salary package offered is 25 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, McKinsey, and Goldman Sachs. The top roles offered are SDE and web develops.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is very bad. The Wi-Fi facility is poor compared to other IITs. Classrooms are not air-conditioned and the library does not have many books. The hostel is newly built on the campus so it is a little better now and good. The food quality in the mess and canteen is good but the taste is not that good.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, knowledgeable, and very friendly. They are always ready to solve our doubts. The teaching quality of the lecturers is excellent. The course curriculum is excellent, and it makes students ready for industry which is why the placements are mind-blowing. The semester exams are moderate level, and the pass percentage is about 90%.
Other: I chose this course because I liked the concept of electricity which I learned during my JEE preparation. The best things about the course are about laboratories where we can learn practically and are involved in doing some projects we love so much. Some lecturers are not very qualified for the course they should replace them. The events and extracurricular activities in this college are outstanding.

Good infrastructure and beautiful campuses.
Placements: In my course, there are no placements possible because it's a Social Science course in which placements don't take place. However, students pursuing this Social Science course can apply for many internships through which they can be hired by companies.
Infrastructure: The library and classrooms are very well-cleaned and large in size. There are also a few smart classes where we learn a lot. The infrastructure of the hostel is very good, and the food is also okay, but it contains a lot of oil and spices, which can harm our health.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are responsible for their duty, and some of them are very good in nature and at their work, although some of them do not take classes. Semester exams come after every three months and take place for one and a half months with a lot of gaps in between.
Other: My main paper is Political Science, and I want to be a professor, so I chose this course. Improvement in the management of semester exams and other documentations is needed. There are a lot of events conducted on the campuses, which are a lot of fun.

The lowest salary package offered is 13 LPA. The average salary package offered is 32.66 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Goldman Sachs, Google, Microsoft, Flipkart, Amazon, Nvidia, JP Morgan, De Shaw, etc. Top roles offered are software development, data science, and quantitative research.
Infrastructure: My Department of Mathematical Sciences is fully equipped with Wi-Fi facility. Classrooms are really good all of them have projectors and most of them are air-conditioned. Libraries are also air-conditioned. It has both digital libraries with computers as well as reading libraries. Our hostel is excellent and affordable for freshers. The hostel is new and just opened this year. In the hostel, we have water coolers with constant water and electricity supply with fast internet connection both wireless and LAN. The mess food is good with a variety of dishes.
Faculty: I won't exactly say the teachers are helpful enough as some professors do not explain everything. It's hard to understand what's going on in the class, and students have to study on their own most of the time. The teaching quality is not good. The course curriculum is quite practical. It is balanced between Mathematics and Computer Science so it is an excellent choice that makes us industry-ready. We can also have more options to explore than any other branch students. The semester exams are easy to crack if students study well. Only a few students fail.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to explore opportunities in quantitative finance, software development, artificial intelligence, and mathematics. Computing is a branch that helps explore all of these and many more diverse fields. My course curriculum does not have any subjects for artificial intelligence/machine learning which is disappointing. Artificial intelligence is a really big field of applied mathematics. It would be really good if they could include it in our curriculum. This university conducts 3 major fests annually like kashiyatra, technex, and spardha.

B.Tech. in Dairy Technology - Batch of 2027

Review of B.Tech in dairy technology and BHU exposure.
Placements: Placements are not so good. But you get 4-5 LPA. If I say the truth, I prefer you to not sit on the placement. Companies like Amul, Nestlé, Sudha and other milk industries are the top recruiters. The highest package is 4 LPA. The lowest package is 2 LPA. Top roles that were offered are dairy inspector, dairy engineer and dairy product sales executive.
Infrastructure: All departments are well equipped. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms and libraries are all available in faculty and department. Classrooms have smartboards and are well equipped. Facilities are available in hostels, like gyms, messes, etc. Medical facilities are also available. Food quality is decent.
Faculty: The faculty are good and all are qualified JRFs and SRFs. Yes, the B.Tech curriculum is relevant. Students are made ready for industry. The semester exam is easy to moderate. There are 2 semesters in 1 year. Exams are not tough. 45% is the pass percentage for students. On average, all students are passed.
Other: If you are passionate about B.Tech in BHU. You are on the same path. BHU is one of the best universities not only in India but also in the universe. You are free to accept this if it is in your hand.

B.Voc. in Computer Applications - Batch of 2025
2.8
1Placements3Infrastructure3Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
The reality of BVoc at BHU.
Placements: We are not provided with any placements facility and there is no placements cell in the college. While taking the admission, we were told that we will get a placements cell and our teachers will be field experts, but we are not given any such an opportunity yet. The coordinators give us internship applications through internshala which are not even relatable to our course.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university as a whole is great. But speaking for my course, we don't even have a good classroom or clean washrooms. They do not focus on hygiene, especially in the faculty of arts . Rest of the departments’ facilities have a clean environment but not ours. There is no hostel facility for girls in our course, there is only one seat allotted to our class. The boys are given around 8 to 12 seats in the hostel. They get funding for building the hostel and the classrooms yet they do not put any efforts to work on the same. We have a lab assigned which does not have proper working systems but there are some computers which work in the labs. There is no AC which makes it very annoying in the summer season. We get free medical facility and medicines by the University. There is no canteen in the campus, there is only one food shop and a tea corner. We do have a UG library and a central library which can be accessed by the students of the campus. They organise inter-departmental sports competitions and the team winning these competitions gets recommendation by the University.
Faculty: The curriculum made for our course is great but the only flaw here is that they do not teach according to the curriculum assigned. They will teach using PDFs and would not put any efforts to give any practical examples. Even the teachers are not aware of the current technologies present in the market. The exams pattern is very similar to any other University, we have to give mid sem and then a final exam. As per my college, we have to give mcent at the beginning of semester. At the Banaras Hindu University, I am currently giving my semester 5th’s midsem examination.
