SSC Junior Hindi Translator 2021-22 exam will be conducted in  December 2022. The notification for the exam will be released on August 22, 2022. The last date to apply for the exam is September 21, 2022.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) had announced SSC JHT 2020 final result and cutoff marks on October 29. On the basis of the final result, a total of 182 candidates have been selected for appointment. SSC JHT 2020-21 document verification was conducted on August 30 and 31, 2021.

What is SSC JHT?

Staff Selection Commission conducts an open competitive examination for recruitment of Junior Hindi Translator, Senior Hindi Translator for various Ministries/Departments/Organizations in the Government of India. The recruitment is done for the following posts.

SSC JHT Eligibility Criteria 2020-21

Candidates need to fulfil the following eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. Except for educational qualification, age and nationality are the same for all postcodes. The educational qualification varies as per the postcodes.

Age: The age limit is 18 to 30 as on January 1, 2021. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in the upper age limit.

Selection process of SSC JHT

The complete selection process of SSC JHT is explained below:

Filling the application form: SSC JHT application form 2020-21 was released online on the official website. The application form comprises two parts: Part I (One-Time Registration) and Part II (Filling the application form). The application fees were INR 100 and could be paid both online and offline. Women/SC/ST/ESM candidates were exempted from fee payment.

Release of Admit Card: SSC JHT admit card is released online separately for Paper 1 and 2. The admit card is released two weeks before the exam on the respective regional websites of the commission. To download the admit card, candidates need to enter the required details. 

Appearing in the entrance exam: The entrance exam is conducted in two stages: Paper 1 and 2. Based on the marks scored in Paper 1, candidates are shortlisted category-wise to appear in Paper 2. On the basis of the performance in Paper 1 and Paper 2, candidates are shortlisted for Document Verification. The final allocation is done based on the merit-cum-preference.

Declaration of result: SSC JHT result is announced online on the official website. The result is made available in PDF form. SSC JHT result displays the roll numbers of qualified candidates. 

SSC JHT Exam Centres 2020-21

The exam of SSC Junior Hindi Translator was conducted in over 50 cities. While filling the application form, candidates were required to indicate three SSC JHT exam centres as per their preferences. SSC reserves the right to allot exam centres to candidates. The address of the exam centres is mentioned on the admit card.
