SSC JHT 2022: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released SSC JHT Paper 2 admit card 2022. The exam for Paper 2 will be conducted on December 11, 2022. Earlier, it was scheduled to be conducted on December 4, 2022.

SSC JHT final answer key 2022 for Paper 1 was released on November 16. Along with the final answer key, SSC had released the Paper 1 marks of both qualified and non-qualified candidates. SSC JHT result 2022 for Paper 1 was announced on November 3. Along with the result, the cut off marks were also released.

SSC JHT answer key 2022 for Paper 1 was released on October 6. The window to challenge the answer key was available from October 6 to 9. SSC JHT Paper 1 exam was conducted on October 1.

SSC JHT notification was released on July 20. The application form was available from July 20 to August 4, 2022. The application fee could be paid online and offline till August 5. To make offline fee payment, candidates could generate the challan till August 4.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the SSC JHT (Junior Hindi Translator) for the recruitment of candidates for the post of Junior Hindi Translators or Junior Translators in different departments and ministries under the Government of India. The recruitment is carried out for various posts such as Junior Hindi Translator, Junior Translator, Senior Hindi Translator, and Hindi Pradhyapak.

What is SSC JHT?

Staff Selection Commission conducts an open competitive examination for recruitment of Junior Hindi Translator, Senior Hindi Translator for various Ministries/Departments/Organizations in the Government of India. The recruitment is done for the following posts.

SSC JHT Admit Card 2022

SSC JHT admit card 2022 for Paper 2 has released for candidates who have qualified the Paper 1 exam. To download the admit card, candidates need to enter registration number or roll number and date of birth. The hard copy of the admit card is not sent to candidates by post. SSC JHT admit card contains details such as the candidate's name, date of birth, category, exam date, details of exam centre, etc.

SSC JHT Result 2022

SSC JHT result 2022 was announced online for Paper 1. The result was made available in PDF form and it comprised the roll numbers of qualified candidates. The marksheet has been released on November 16. To download the marksheet, candidates need to enter user ID and password.

SSC JHT Cutoff 2022

SSC JHT cutoff has been released along with the result. The cutoff has been made available category-wise for Paper 1, 2 and final selection. SSC JHT Answer Key 2022

SSC JHT final answer key 2022 for Paper 1 has been released on November 16. The provisional answer key was released October 6. Candidates could challenge the provisional answer key by paying INR 100. 

SSC JHT Application Form 2022

SSC JHT application form 2022 was released on July 20, 2022. The last date to fill SSC JHT online form was August 4, 2022. SSC JHT application form comprised two parts-1 and 2. Part 1 comprised registration while Part 2 comprised filling the detailed application form. The application form fee could be paid both online. The application fee was INR 100, while SC/Women/ST/ESM candidates were exempted from fee payment.

SSC JHT Eligibility Criteria

Candidates need to fulfil the following eligibility criteria before applying for the exam. Except for educational qualification, age and nationality are the same for all postcodes. The educational qualification varies as per the postcodes.

Age: The age limit is 18 to 30. Reserved category candidates will get relaxation in the upper age limit.

SSC JHT Selection Process 2022

The complete selection process of SSC JHT is explained below:

Filling the application form

SSC JHT application form is released online on the official website. The application form comprises two parts: Part I (One-Time Registration) and Part II (Filling the application form). The application fees were INR 100 and could be paid both online and offline. Women/SC/ST/ESM candidates were exempted from fee payment.

Release of Admit Card

SSC JHT admit card is released online separately for Paper 1 and 2. The admit card is released two weeks before the exam on the respective regional websites of the commission. To download the admit card, candidates need to enter the required details. 

Appearing in the Exam

The entrance exam is conducted in two stages: Paper 1 and 2. Based on the marks scored in Paper 1, candidates are shortlisted category-wise to appear in Paper 2. On the basis of the performance in Paper 1 and Paper 2, candidates are shortlisted for Document Verification. The final allocation is done based on the merit-cum-preference.

SSC JHT result is announced online on the official website. The result is made available in PDF form. SSC JHT result displays the roll numbers of qualified candidates. 

SSC JHT Exam Centres 

The exam of SSC Junior Hindi Translator was conducted in more than 100 cities. While filling the application form, candidates are required to indicate three SSC JHT exam centres as per their preferences. SSC reserves the right to allot exam centres to candidates. The address of the exam centres is mentioned on the admit card.

SSC JHT Notification 2022

The official SSC JHT notification 2022 was released on July 20. SSC had released the official notification for the post of Junior Hindi Translator and Senior Hindi Translator. SSC JHT notification contains important information such as dates, eligibility, syllabus, pattern, application process, fees, etc. 

SSC JHT is conducted annually depending upon the number of vacancies. The selection process comprises Paper 1, 2 and Document Verification. Candidates who qualify all the states successfully will be appointed to the posts of Junior Hindi Translator and Senior Hindi Translator.  After qualifying Paper-I candidates are shortlisted for Paper-II and after qualifying Paper-II candidates are shortlisted for document verification. General Hindi: Antonyms, Synonyms, Phrases/ Muhavare, proverbs, Comprehension, Knowledge of Hindi.

General English: Grammar, Comprehension, Sentence Completion and Structure, Vocabulary, Articles, Tenses, Spelling Test, Unseen Passages, Synonyms.

SSC JHT Exam Pattern 2022

SSC JHT exam pattern is divided into Paper 1 and 2. Paper 1 is conducted in online mode while Paper 2 is held offline. Paper 1 carries objective type questions from General English and Hindi. The test paper of Paper 1 carries 100 questions and 100 marks. The Paper 2 carries descriptive type questions from Translation and Essay. Total marks allotted to the Paper 2 is 200. Candidates qualifying both the papers are called for document verification.
