BTech is one of the top courses of UPES Dehradun. As per NIRF 2022 rankings, the university was ranked at 61 position under 'Engineering' category. The rankings saw a jump from 91 position in 2021 and 167 position in 2020. Apart from the Engineering course, UPES Dehradun was also the part of NIRF Ranking under 'University' category. Recently, the university also found a place in 'Overall' category of NIRF 2022 rankings. MBA is one of the popular courses of UPES Dehradun. When it comes to placements, the University offers decent placements annually.  UPES Dehradun admission to MBA course is based on national or university-evel entrance exams. The university accepts GATE/ CAT/ CUET PG + PI scores for providing admission. In case, an aspirant fails to secure the minimum marks* specified by the university, he or she will need to appear for UPESMET. It is an online entrance exam conducted for a duration of 2.5 hours. UPESMET sections include English, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and Analytical Reasoning. For admission to Global MBA, aspirants only need to come for the PI round. The shortlisted candidates will be called for group discussion and personal interview round for further selection. After completion of the selection rounds, candidates are called for document verification. Aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university.

UPES Dehradun admission to MBA course is based on either UPESMET/ CAT/ CUET PG scores. In case, an aspirant fails to secure the minimum marks specified by the university, he or she will need to appear for UPESMET. For admission to Global MBA, aspirants only need to come for the PI round. The shortlisted candidates will be called for group discussion and personal interview round for further selection. After completion of the selection rounds, aspirants will need to prove their eligibility by provding necessary documents for verification. Aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university. 

No, you will not gain admission at UPES Dehradun with an NMAT score of 60 if you belong to the General AI category. As per the UPES Dehradun NMAT cutoff 2025, the qualifying percentile was 70. 

UPES Dehradun also accepts other exams for admission to the MBA programme and various branches, like XAT and MAT. For the XAT exam, the qualifying percentile was 50. Hence, students might get admission if they give the XAT exam.

Candidates who have passed graduation in any stream along with Class 10 and Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate can apply for MBA course. Apart from meeting the eligiiblity requirement, candidates also need to pass either UPESMET/ CAT/ CUET PG  for admission to MBA course. In case, any aspirant fails to secure the minimum marks* specified by the university, he or she will need to appear for UPESMET. For admission to Global MBA, aspirants only need to come for the PI round. The shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview round for further selection. After completion of the selection rounds, aspirants will need to prove their eligibility by provding necessary documents for verification. UPES Dehradun offers BBA in 27 specialisations through the UPES School of Business and UPES School of Modern Media. Candidates after completing Class 10 and Class 12 with at least 50% aggregate can apply for the BBA course. Check below UPES BBA specialisations:

Yes, candidates can get admission at UPES Dehradun for BTech after Class12. Check below eligibility:

• Minimum 60% marks in both Class X and Class XII.
• Minimum 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) in Class XII.
• JEE Main score of at least 50 percentile, along with:
  • Minimum 50% marks in Class X,
  • Minimum 50% marks in Class XII, and
  • Minimum 50% aggregate in PCM.

In case a candidate has not appeared for any of the specified exam, he or she can apply for direct admission.

Admissions are based on CUET UG scores followed by personal interview. University accepts SAT/ IB/ CIE scores as well for admissions in courses like Economics with Data Science, Economics and Finance and Psychology and Behaviour. 

BSc (Hons) is offered in full-time mode for four years by the institute. The programme is available in many specialisations. The curriculum of each specialisation is divided in eight semesters. The syllabus includes many major and minor core subjects.
