ICWAI Exam - The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants 2019

ICWAI December 2019 exam dates for Foundation, Intermediate and Final course are out now. The exams will be held from December 10 to 17, 2019 for all courses. The results of ICWAI December 2019 exams will be declared on February 21, 2020, in online mode for all courses.

What is the ICWAI exam?

ICWAI examinations are conducted by The Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICAI) which was previously known as The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants (ICWAI). ICAI was set up with an objective of promoting and regulating the Cost and Management Accountancy profession in India. It offers courses at different levels as under:  

• ICWAI Foundation course
• ICWAI Intermediate course
• ICWAI Final course

ICWAI Eligibility Criteria

The candidates who want to pursue the courses offered by ICWAI have to start right after passing Class 12th by taking admission in the Foundation courses. Besides, the eligibility criteria for each course is as under:

Registrations for the ICAI Foundation & Intermediate courses are open throughout the year. However, students willing to appear for June Term Examination should apply before 31st January of that year and for December Term Examination should apply before 31st July of that year. ICWAI has announced the exam dates for December term 2019 examinations as under:

ICWAI Admission Process 

Step 1: Fill in the Application form

Candidates have to fill the application form of ICWAI before the last date of each term. The candidates should check the eligibility criteria for each course of ICWAI before filling up the application form. The application form of ICWAI is available in online mode only. Candidates have to pay the application fee for their course without which no application form is accepted by the institute. The application fee for each course 

The fee can be paid using Debit/Credit Cards /*Pay fee module of IDBI only*/ Demand Draft. 

Step 2: Download ICWAI Admit Card

Candidates registering and submitting the application form of ICWAI courses will be issued admit cards for appearing in the examination.

• The admit card will be available at least a week before the date of exam.
• Candidates can get their admit cards in online mode only at the official website.
• To download the admit card, candidates need to enter their Registered ID and password for ICWAI exams.

Step 3: Appear for ICWAI

Candidates have to appear for the examinations as per the exam schedule for each course (mentioned above).

• The exam dates and timings for each course will be mentioned on the admit card of the candidates as well.
• The candidates can appear for ICWAI examinations at the allotted test centres only. 
• Candidates should report their allotted test centres 

Step 4: Check ICWAI Result

The institute will declare the results of ICWAI courses within 60 days of conducting the examination.

• The results will be published on the official website of ICMAI only.
• Candidates can check their ICWAI results by login using their Roll Number/ Registration Number and Password.
• Candidates securing minimum qualifying marks for each paper shall be declared pass and eligible for next course or CMA graduate (after the final course).
